well the money i spend at horespower logic was a waste...
he says i may have ignition issue, and or my injectors may have an issue as well. not sure exactly...
the idle is erratic when at low RPM. i may have to sell these and go for high impedence injectors. so he could be right about that.

Why would high impedance injectors change anything if you correctly have the resistor wired in? That doesn't seem like a logical avenue for me, but then again I could be way off base on the whole thing.

another thing, have you checked the reluctor ring on the crank (timing trigger wheel)? They can come loose at times and create headaches. Solution is to have someone tack it back in its correct location with a TIG welder.

This ^ is from when you tried to have it tuned the first time and also had the leaking manifold gasket.
^ this is now. Sounds like the same thing, which leads me to believe your injectors are fine and you're still having problems with your ignition circuit. I'm still thinking it's what I have mentioned before.

trust me im going thru everything. i'll even look at the crank trigger wheel and see if it came loose like you've said. i have seen a few threads where that was done.

i'll update everyone soon. the car pulls strong at this supposed 350hp. but i'll pull off the timing cover and check the trigger wheel on the crank.
all i know is the intake gaskets fixed my vacuum leak that i had before. that were causing the first bad idle.

I saw an IS300 idle pretty good with ID2000s the other day considering the spark plug gap was like retarded tight to compensate for it's high boost level of mid 30s psi and makes over 1000whp.
Also know someone that has the exact same injectors as you running a pfc on a 1jz and his car idles great. I know it's not an AEM, but iirc the AEM should have more resolution and prob more compensation features than a pfc, but not entirely sure on that.
Were any of the runs on the dyno logged from this last session at HPL? Maybe see if you can send them to this Lance guy or whoever the original tuner was that said you were having rising/falling edge issues to see what they think is going on.

i am going to try to get a hold of Lance on monday or so and talk to him about options on what i can do to get this car right. i did check the aem settings a bit. the Crank setting was set at Falling Edge.
stay tuned. im on the case! i wanna hit 500+ just like 1992Lexus Mark.

well i haven't got in contact with anyone yet about my problems nor have i looked at the crank timing gear.
but here is my mini upgrade of the day. i got my 45 degree coupler yesterday. so i could move my air filter down and away from the radiator. similar to the stock location of the air filter box.
here is a Before pic.
and two after pics.
more to come. just slow updates at this point.

did the tuner give you reasons as to why you'd need to purchase high impedance injectors?
and honestly, 400whp on pumpgas (dynojet numbers) on a 1jz with stock cams and T3 turbine 35R isn't exactly terrible.....
what a/r is that turbine housing?
what AFR were you running during your dyno pulls? sorry if these were in the dyno graphs you posted. i can't see a lot of linked forum images on my work computer.
and please be aware that 1992Lexus Mark made 500whp on pumpgas because he has big cams and a much bigger turbo.

That intake filter is some crap , it's restricted and it will cost you a Turbo , I told the OP that before.
Low impedance injectors idled Ok on my SC when i had the crappy bosch 1600 low impedance, idle sucked but wot and partial throttle wasn't to bad.
It still shouldn't matter ..your car should still run ok.
You have a T3 ar so don't be suprise if if doesn't make 500 on pump, you need a bigger turbo with a bigger ar to be able to make 500whp on pump.
Honda boxes are rising edge and toyota falling edge setup..
cartmill is 100% You and mark had 2 different setups , it's not an apple top apple comparison .
do you still have the fuel dampner on the side of the block ? if you do please remove it , check your wiring to see IF your camshafts and crankshaft sensor are in the right pins and making a good contact.
Yes you can , just press F6 to start the recording and F6 to stop!
