Ok i have another update....
Man im cursed with this car.
According to the tuner:
1. My tank has rust
2. The first pump I had was Chinese garbage
3. One of my injectors is either bad or not working so well
4. The fuel pump they put in was some run of the mill AutoZone pump just to get it running.
It made 383hp
He assures me its good at this level till I address these issues
So I have to replace the gas tank. I also plan to get an aeromotive 340 lph. Install new fuel filter.
Lastly I am going to have injector clinic clean and flow test my injectors.
This has to be it... ugh
This project is kicking my *** so damn bad

Man, I just spent a couple hours of my work day reading through the thread and I gotta say its a great build. It sucks that you had so many little issues along the way, but I want to know how it ends. Everything good? Retuned?

really haven't done much to the car. im kinda broke.
i have installed coilovers thats about it. im gathering funds for a set of BC264 cams and the bigger fuel pump and lines im going to need. i'll have it done in 2 or 3 months.
right now. since i've decided to drive it with the horsepower it has now.
i developed a leaky power steering rack, my a/c compressor has no suction and last but not least i have an exhaust leak. i gotta find it and fix it. can't have it dyno tuned with a leak. makes a nice car sound like crap.

i picked these up on wednesday. the guy never installed them. were still in the box for an easy 600 bux.
these are the Megan Racing EZ Streets Coilovers 15 way adjustables.
i didnt take many pics of the installation progress. it was kind of a pain. didnt want to scratch the paint and so on.

front installation
i put my 2jz resistor above it so i can still sneak 2 fingers underneath to adjust it.
here is the finished product. looks good to me. rides awesome too.
then i gave her a bath.

finally stepping up the fuel upgrade. just got my new fuel pump in. a Weldon 1100 external pump. its only good for double the horsepower im shooting for. yeah im good :-D still need to collect a few more parts. before i can install it. but yea. so far so good.

i also developed a crack in my exhaust manifold. great thats all i need. its cracked at the collector too. for now im just going to remove it and have it fixed. future plans include.. .
1. going to a T4 manifold from driftmotion.
2. ordering a .82-.86 A/R T4 hotside for my GT35 turbo. (i refuse to purchase another turbo)
3. i will have to have my downpipe remade for this. ugh...
i think when i do have THIS manifold fixed. im going to add extra bracing around the collector to ensure it last long. i dont even have 1000 miles on this manifold and it already cracked. i believe however the high heat from the numerous DYNO tunes probably caused it to crack.
stay tuned. i'll be adding more in the coming weeks/months. then i'll have more pics to share.

Good to see that you have continued to stick with it. I wonder how loud that fuel pump is going to be?
