i'll keep that in mind. for now I have to get 2 fuel filters. one before the pump and one after. so yeah. gotta spend some money. I probably wont buy the Weldon Filters because they are 100 each. and I must buy 100 Micron filters.

updates:
i spent the last 7 days working on my car off and on at my friends shop Hi-Boost Motorsports.
was able to use his lift to get some things done. I didnt have time to take many pictures. so you'll just have
read about what i've done lol
I installed a Weldon 1100 fuel external fuel pump.
we were thinking where to mount this sucker. i didnt want it to be all loud inside the car. so we went with the area under the driver side back seat under the car.
next I installed the M12x1.5 to 6an adapter to the fuel rail. and ran a line down to an inline filter.
the same adapter was used on the fuel tank. I didnt want to drill holes and weld and all that crap. so i used the fuel tank Drain opening as my Feed to the fuel pump.
in this pic. i removed the stock fuel filter, and replaced with some braided fuel hose to bridge the gap in the place of the OEM filter. since this is now being used as a return.
then we finished all the hoses and plumbing so to speak. i ran another filter before the fuel pump. all 6an lines.
here are a few pics of it all cleaned up. and tucked up against the body.

earlier this week I removed the gas tank and cleaned out whatever rustiness was in there. i was going to use the pebbles and vinegar trick by shaking the tank, but ain't nobody got time fo dat.
i used a 3500 psi pressure washer and got it off that way :-D
i didnt have time to take pics of this. its was bloody hot outside monday and tuesday this week that past and i didnt feel like grabbin the camera. needless to say the tank is clean inside. you should of see the gook that came out the OEM fuel filter. it was muddy. anyway thats that.
tank is clean. fuel pump is now installed. the Tuner "shouldn't" have any problems tuning now.

the next thing i took care of was replacing the rack and pinion. that was pretty easy. no need to take pics of regular maintence. its so easy to do.
a few weeks before. i had the cracks in my China-fold repaired. ugh. yeah. but when u dont have a lot of money. u gotta go with the chinese stuff.
here are a few pics of the cracks and the repaired pics.
the main cracks were around the collector.
and here is the finished product. i added another brace to join the front 3 primaries to the rear 3 primaries to help the collector hold up. my girlfriends father did the welding. he did an awesome job fixing it.

i installed a Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT navigation radio i picked up for 350 off craigslist. i'll show some pics of that later. but that about somes up the work done to my car for now.
next i need to save up for BC264 cams, make my AC work via the button instead of jumping the relay. and getting a retune and making my 500+whp goal.

Right now I do not have a surge tank setup, I reversed the flow of the gas tank, the stock feed from the tank is now the return. The original return is blocked and no longer used.
The tank drain hole is now feeding the Weldon pump. I setup the fuel pump hanger to drop the returned fuel by the drain inside the tank instead of the baffle around where the original in-tank pump collected fuel.

non horsepower related update.
i took out the crappy stock radio that can't handle 1 decible of bass
got a metra kit, and chopped it up. because the rinky dink plastic can't handle a 5 pound pioneer touch screen.
test fitted it to my new (used actually cause i wont spend a grand for a radio)
lined up the metal bracket. it took some testing. i got it to work.
and finally. got it back in.
sorry for the bad pics. it was night time. and it took a while to run the rear camera wires.

just ordered a set of Brian Crower Stage two 264 duration cams from THMotorsports.com last upgrade I need before retune.
stay tuned for unboxing pics and installation.
debating on whether to paint valve covers wrinkle red or polish them.

You need to use pins A17 and A27 to get the AC to work. There is my thread on solving this in more detail. Its not my build thread specifically but they are listed in that also.
What made you get the BC cams?
What price did you get them for shipped?
I got them for 550 shipped to my door through BC directly, but I had to wait 4 months due to backorder. I used my military discount they offered me.
