well here are the results.
444whp @ 25 psi
sorry the graph doesn't show revs. it was really hot in th shop so the low numbers are due to the excessive heat. even with the Fan blowing on the front. it wasn't enough. too much spark knock. i also may have to change my back housing to something larger like a .96 i'll worry about that after I get some idea's from you experts.

about a 60 horsepower gain. which is noticable. but still short of that magical 500hp goal.
here is a video.

I know right but it was hot as ***** in that shop probably like over 100 degrees inside the intake tube with all of the heat soaking. I'm going to go back there again and try for ringtune and at the very least get all slightly larger back housing I don't think I need to change my turbo charger

Why is 500 your goal? Why not 650? JK
What was your power before the addition of cams? Under 400?
I wish I had driven an SC before the addition of the cams, so I can fell the difference.

gap at last check was .18
my back housing is .82
tuner said i need a larger back housing. he went on to say it was causing too much heat build up. pistons were getting hot.
the shop didnt help. no real air flow. it was really hot in there.
yes i know its a 600hp Turbo. but its not working out.. im already looking at a GT37r or GT40r with T4 flange.
it was 383hp, on stock cams, stock fuel lines and 19 psi.
Lance is my Tuner.
93 octane gas is what im using
500hp is the magical number! 444 feels good tho. but 500 would feel better.
spark knock was very high due to the extreme heat. i am considering getting a T4 with .89 a/r and a flange and have my current manifold modified. if this GT35r can still do it. it will make the power far better with a larger hotside.
i have 4 1zz coils. but i dont want my engine to look weird. yes its kinda lame to say that. but i've seen 800+ JZ engines with stock coils. so not doing that lol

Ok .18 is robbing alot of power..
Not sure why you went t3 from the beginning, this is an i6 not 4cylinder with 1.4 so you will be fine with a t4 turbo.
Ok you need an ignition amplifier if you don't want to change your coils.
They can make 1000whp on the stock coils depending on the ecu they are running and more than likely brand newcoils.
Gt40 is the worst pos you can ever buy , because they don't make any power.
Why don't you get a turbo that has been proven to work on the 1jz and made that power on the 1jz.
Hell Nate made 500whp on stock ecu with 60mm turbo and stock camshaft.
It's all about combination.

i would have to agree with quick. not sure, but maybe switching out the t3 manifold to a t4 and getting an adapter plate? not sure if changing the manifold would help with power or not. or just change to a t4 turbo. t3 turbos dont make much power, but with your set up, you should be at 500 or somewhere in the area. But you should def get an hks dli or something of the sort. and your gap should be bigger if your running more boost. my buddy is running .028 at 30 psi 722rwhp in his mk3 and no problems. hope this helps lead you in some direction

That turbo can make it and make it fast.. It's been proven even tho this is a 2j your 1j has the potential

thanks guys. so i should open up my gap to .24 maybe? and go T4?
just keep the turbo i have? i've been reading up and down all over the place and there are plenty of T3 and T4 powered 1jz that have crossed 500hp. so Im going to look into that.
i'll look into the amplifier box. as a last resort. but in the mean time i'll start collecting T4 parts.
