Just curious, but is the dp alumninized mild steel, or stainless? It looks strange, almost like aluminum.

Looks great man!

I'm sure it wasn't cheap but at least it looks great.

Do the catch can while you at it, it will save you from replacing the fms.

Now turn down the boost to 20 and make some power!

Thanks for the compliments.

i do need a new catch can setup. i was going to do it similar to 1JZPWRD. i wanna mount the catch where the stock Charocal Canister was mounted. but it doesn't quite fit there. i need to make a bracket for it.

it cost me almost $600 for that pipe. its going to take months for me to recover from that one, on the account im not exactly bleeding cash at the moment.

yes its aluminized steel. stainless would of doubled the price.

question to all that may know.

can i run E85?

here is my setup on fuel.
weldon 1100a fuel pump, 6an lines from tank to rail, 2jz injector resistor, Low impedence Denso sidefeed 880cc injectors.

or shall i save up and get a rail. (dual feed), get high impedence top feed injectors, eliminate low-Z resistor, change lines to 8an or 10an from tank to rail (with Y splitter)

i dont think i can run 100% E85 on my setup. im not crazy about the idea of using that stuff anyway. but I just want to ask.

Yes you can run E85!

How much power are you looking to make on E85?

http://fuelinjectorclinic.com/flow-calculator

E85 is the best thing i have ever done..I ran my car with no WG, just maxing out my map sensor GM 3bar on E85 on 10.1CR ..it's the best thing ever if you ask me, specially if you don't DD the car and you have it available.

Aem v2 does FF now , anyway so you can run whatever gas you want!!!

I would put fic 1100 or ID1000 in there with a rail and start from there..

SS fuel filter 25-40 micron and you are good..

right now i just wanna get over 500hp with my current mods. if i was to do the full blown E85. i would want closer to 600.and thats with proper injectors, rail and lines.

but with what i have now? do you think its worth tryin to tune with what i have now on E85 and see what i get? i know you need a buttload more fuel to really take advange of E85. and small 880cc injectors aren't big enough.

but what do you guess i could get? just tossing the idea around.

Just read thru your entire build thread. Looks like you had a lot of ups and downs along with set backs. Glad you stuck with it and didn't sell it. Nice build thread.

i never give up man. especially this car. its the most powerful car i ever put together. i plan on getting it up to 600hp range with E85 conversion. for now.

i do it in small steps. my goal is 500hp at the moment. i should be happy with this for a while.

I also want to wire in an air temp sensor.

I just have to wait for retune.
