today i installed my 880cc injectors i got from a board member, and a 7mgte injector resistor. it was a lot of work to tell you the truth.
im going to finish installing the AEM wideband tomorrow, AEM boost solenoid, and AEM 3.5bar Map Sensor.

here are some pics of the install of the AEM and associated sensors. its a lot of work i tell you!
here are some interior pics of it taken a part a little.
i had to take the back seat out so my buddy Lonnie at Hi-Boost Motorsports could access the Fuel Pump ECU.
i ran the boost solenoid wires thru this grommet on the passenger side to get to the AEM, the UEGO also goes thru here as well.

here is the intake area taken a part. I was installing the 880cc injectors and had to get to them. i didnt want to take off the manifold because it just looked like way too much work... so i removed the throttle cables, Idle speed control valve, Manifold Temp sensor, etc... to gain clearance to the injectors. i pulled them all out.
and before i put them in... i ended up unboldint the manifold back a bit anyway. I had a specialist wire in the resistor from a 7M-GTE to control injector power which in the harness loom that is under the curve of the Intake Plenum. it looks a lot cleaner than hacking up the connectors in my opinion. i didnt get a pic of that. it was very hectic during that procedure.
here is a pic of it which the blue injectors installed...
but wait... apparently even tho i lubed the injector O-rings, i guess some got damaged. and i developed an air leak. i had to order 18 new o-Rings from toyota. so they will have to come back out again. blah!

next i had to mount the 7mgte resistor.
i used an old cruise control ecu bracket from a MK3 supra to make the mounting brackets.
nothing like having a pair of pliers, step up drill bit and cutting wheel to fabricate your own sheeet!
then walked over to napa. thru the guy 50 cents and got some bolts and nuts.
then i mounted it. all done!

the next thing on my list was to mount the boost control solenoid for the AEM. my friend Lonnie did the soldering and heat shrinking to make it look good.
so again i used part of the MK3 bracket and went to work.
and here it is bolted. i went for the vertical. just because yanno. i didnt feel like cutting up more pieces of metal lol

the last thing accomplished was the addition of the 3.5bar AEM map sensor. its hard to see. but i bolted it directly into the manifold. again, Lonnie at Hi-Boost did all the soldering and extention of the wires. i dont usually do that myself. he just is better at it.
what i forgot to mention. was we are also having the AEM switch on the electric fans by the temp sensor on the water neck, rather than having a Honda Temp switch on the bottom of the radiator switch on at 193 degrees.
so tomorrow, i will if i have time. install the new O-Rings and get the car to idle correctly on the 880's. it does run however with them injectors installed along with the Resistor. so w00t!
more updates soon.

Anytime you buy used injectors make sure you send them out for cleaning, it will save you alot of money and alot of time.
I thought that box can control high or low impedance injectors and no resistor pack was needed?
Very good keep up with the nice work!
