Oh ok so the air filter there is connected to the valve which only opens when it needs to? Got it.

You have little low end torque because you have a 1jz with a large turbo. Not sure what the hotside is on your turbo, but if it's the 6765 in your sig, then the biggest problem is that you put together an inefficient setup. I'm not an expert by any means, but a turbo that's capable of 750hp is gonna suffer on the lower end. And a 2.5l is not gonna spool it til later in the rev range. Basically, you probably aren't touching it's efficiency range. And 440s for 400whp is cutting it close. With fuel, you'll always want some ceiling. I'm running a rather quick spoiling turbo and I can watch it having a hard time keeping up with the 440s and a mk4 supra pump when I'm around the 400whp range which is about 18psi for me. I've since turned it down to 1 bar because that makes me nervous. If you're only chasing 400whp, I'd suggest getting a turbo that peaks around 450 to give you a bit of room. It'll make for a fun street car, where a turbo that's too large will just be depressing. A holset hx35 with bep turbine housing would probably make you real happy and would probably only cost you $500 total

Anyway is there any other viable options for T3 headers other than that SSautochrome one? I am looking at this too, tossing up between them. Anyone using the one below from SupraStore?

I once bought his T3 Header for my 1JZ, and it was awesome!

Yeah I heard a lot of good things about his manifolds, at least I heard that they were holding up ok. Wish I could have got one of those.

Hahaha. Okay dude, whatever. Im not the one that doesn't understand why my car has a lack of low end torque because my turbo is too large, or that it's possible to drive out of boost with quick spoiling turbo. I wonder where you would be if doom light didn't have the patience to hold your hand in this thread? Good luck, and I hope you have plenty of money. You'll need it.
