I like the 97 tails with the black paint over the chrome.

welllll looks like my clutch is slipping after about 2k HARD miles, haha. OH well, im 99% sure its TOB related. only slips sometimes, which is wierd. but my PS pump finally took a shizz. gonna address all my problems when the single turbo kit goes on after christmas.

Arrow

full poly bushings front and rear, steering rack bushings. new LED cc screen. and some TT sways should be in the mail, along with some stainless brake lines.

recently replaced the power steering pump, with a ls400 to rid my engine bay of the resi on the core support..... and now that shizz leaks, wtf? looks like its coming straight out of the TIGHT banjo.

got a ticket for my exhaust, oh well, i gotta smog it soon anyway. ill swap it stock, smog, get ticket signed off then put it back.

on the plus side i m finally buttoning up my honda, so a nice big single turbo will be resting in my engine bay shortly. ALSO just got a auto TT LSD, and some 275/35's to put the future power downnnnnn. figured id update.

finally got a few thousand miles on my obd1 converted hatchback, damn that was a pain and im glad i never have to do that again. lol!

sooo i step back over to my lex recently cuz shes been neglected. got her some presents
1) carbon fiber hood AND trunk
2) REAL oem fogs
3) 97 glass hi's
4) got my sway bar links/mounts/bushings
5) turbo studs, hardware, gaskets, oil feed and return, weld on bung, T adapter

i still need to buy a 3" muffler, 3" mandrel bends, a few v-bands in different sizes, boost/temp/oil gauge. and a few other small odds and ends.

190k just passed smog no prob with a r154! *incase any cali peeps are wondering about emissions**

but first im going to simplify my engine bay, abs delete, i dont have trac anyway. egr delete, hydro to electric fan conversion, annnnd im going to dump the stock PS cooler, and put a setrab cooler on the passenger side. already switched to a ls400 PS pump. not sure why lexus would put the cooler on the OPPOSITE side of the PS pump? oh well is MY lexus now. haha. also got a mk4 supra koyo rad dual 14" fans, and a sc300 overflow bottle. this should give me the room im looking for in preparation for the single holset.

ill post more details later.

well i installed my koyo MKIV supra radiator, sc300 overflow. aluminum radiator hoses, abs/CC/egr/Hyd fan delete, ls400 fan bracket, dual 12" fans, soldered in my new LCD screen and got that pesky door lock actuator installed. over the past week or so. swapped the P/S lines over to the hyd fan cooler. stainless brake lines went in today.

new to do list:
-tap oil sending unit for turbo feed
-figure out where to have my turbo drain
-mount I/C
-flip intake manifold to driverside
-start fabbing manifolds

questions: what to do with the 4 vacuum lines on the p/s pump? someone said i could just loop them back on themselves? just looking for another opinion

have been pretty devoted to getting this done. got my turbo in the bay, manifolds fabbed, currently doing the downpipe. made a sweet turbo brace. tomorrow i should be able to knock out cutting and fitting the intercooler piping. if i can get it done i might flip the manifold.

gotta weld the v-band on the exhaust housing and weld all the alum i/c piping at work, no TIG at home. =(

im taking pics and will upload them when i have more time, sorry guys. i know this thread prolly is useless w/o pics

got all the intercooler piping cut, fit, and clocking marks noted. waiting for my BOV flange to come before i weld all the i/c piping.

ordered my drain line, all the couplers, t-bolt clamps. tomorrow i might go snowboarding to let all my parts ship on out to me haha. but theres still so much i can be doing besides i/c piping or exhaust fab. ughh haha what a rough life.
