Been awhile since I've updated this, or done much.
Still working away on the wheels

Should have the faces 100% by next week if I don't get lazy. I've also decided to not go with bigger lips right now. I would need too much $ invested in them to make them sit proper. So I will just refurb as is, then once these tires are toast go with the bigger lips
Also got around to washing the car as well as removing the lexus emblem, still need to wet sand and add a few more coats but it will do for now. Much cleaner looking

Oil change and brakes next (nothing exciting), then hopefully get the wheels wrapped up and back on the car

Haven't been on here in a while, haven't done much due to a dislocated shoulder and fractured humerous.
Car has been listed for sale as a feeler, as well as a part out. might be time to move into a more practical vehicle for our needs. We shall see what happens in a month or two.
But still moving forward until the final decision is made
Paint in the pockets has been nothing but trouble. So I decided to media blast them and am much happier with the results.

Still have a little more original paint to blast off, but was just testing this media out.
Also found some valve stems in the garage from the volks that are the perfect length! Just needs a good polishing

If anyone is interested in any parts feel free to pm me, you'll have first dibs when/if the part out happens.

For the time being looks like we will be keeping the car. Just picked up a second job and will be starting school again here at the end of the month to further my education so the car will obviously be less of a priority. Still need to finish the wheels, been too lazy to get the other tires removed
A couple new goodies are on their way. Small changes but tasteful and OEM expect some photos next weekend

Got a killer deal on this, could not pass it up. And it's in much better shape than the current wheel

And starting to collect OEM black trim. Had to get the newer glovebox with the silver trim so it's not so boring once all black

Decided to stop being lazy and changed the oil today and finally installed the gt spec 4 point lower brace

Bar isn't scratched yet, just plastic wrap over their logo haha
Steering seems like it may be just a hair more responsive idk and I don't care either way, just something else to toss sparks haha
More work on the wheels this week as well as more parts showing up
