Akata Spacers Update
Just an update with more detail for folks researching...
So after I did the test fit of the Vossen CV1 22x10.5 wheels up front on my 600hL, more info here ----> https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...n-ls600hl.html , I left the 15mm spacers on so the 22x9 CV1s will sit closer out to the edge. For history purposes, when I bought my Vossen CV1s, the 22x9 for the LS fitment was at a 35 offset. A few fellow members along with me have this version, but the newer produced CV1s, CV3s and others now feature the 30mm offset which means they are pushed out more to the outside.
These Akata Spacers are hubcentric with hublip for the wheel bore to rest on, taking much of the stress off of the lug bolts. For reference, they are Akata 15mm Spacers, 5x120, 60.1mm with attached bolts. They simply slide on over your stock bolts and come with conical nuts that bolt up to your stock lugs. Then, the wheel goes on the spacer and your lugnuts tighten down the wheel on the new lug bolts the spacer has built in.
VERY IMPORTANT..some, not all wheels have a recessed pocket next to the lug hole. If it does not have a pocket, these spacers may not work for you because the slightly exposed factory lug bolts will prevent the spacer from seating flush on the hub. Both CV1 versions I have (22x9 and 22x10.5) have the pockets to allow for this.
ALSO VERY IMPORTANT As I learned within 10 miles, the new spacer threads and existing lugs need to learn how to play nicely. New metal expands and contracts dramatically and you must keep an eye out and retorque them a few times within the first 50 miles or so. I have retorqued a couple times so far, each time dramatically less..started off with two turns or so, now only 1/8 of a turn after 30 miles. So just be careful and retorque to 103 ft lbs until they settle down.

So, the new setup is:
Front - 22x9 Vossen CV1 wheels (35mm offset) with 15mm Akata hubcentric bolt on spacers Effective New wheel offset with spacer is appx 20mm.
Rear - 22x10.5 Vossen CV1 wheels (38mm offset) with 3mm slide on hubcentric spacers. Effective new offset with spacer is 35mm.

Cooler temps and plenty of road trips have prompted me to give the 22s a break and roll on the OEM 19" wheels for a few months. But, the sunken in look the OEMs have in the fenders needed to be fixed. So, I added 15mm Akata Spacers up front and 20mm on the rear to help the overall look and fill out the wheel wells a little more. This put the overall wheel offset at about 17mm front and 12mm rear (subtracting from the 32mm OEM offset)
I recently went on a road trip and logged over 1000 miles and experienced absolutely no vibration issues with these Akata spacers. If you do get new spacers or new lug bolts for that matter, be prepared to recheck your wheel torque a couple times within the first 100 miles or so. They needed two retorques within the first 150 miles, but only some of them needed barely a 1/4 turn again with the torque wrench. I checked them along my road trip as well just to be on the safe side since I was running the car around 80mph+ for long periods of time and had recently installed the spacers..but they were still nice and tight at 103 ft lbs.
Here is how my oem19" wheel setup looks now looks for anyone thinking of adding spacers. It is hard to capture the difference with pictures, I tried to get the best angles.

definitely looks great with the spacer on the stockers, wonder why lexus didn't make the oem set a little more agressive. even the 7 series stockers look good on the 7 series. hopefully one day i can go back to the oem studs when they make longer ones.

Lex, you lost me on this one man? Akata Spacers bolt up to the oem studs (bolts supplied) and then your lugnuts go on the spacers studs which are already attached and they are plenty long enough. Where the spacer attaches to the hub and oem studs, the opening is recessed, not the thickness of the spacer. I may be misunderstanding you

Oh gotcha. .yeah some wheels dont have the little pockets on the back pad of the wheel to allow the portion of the oem studs to sit in to allow the wheel to sit flush on spacer. I think all LS wheels have the pockets..but some aftermarket wheels dont which can make spacer projects a real hassle.
