The 16 and 18volt cordless drill were no bueno for the hole saw. When you drill holes to clear the upper control arm, try using a corded drill because that has constant power. I'm going to try the compressed air drill tomorrow

nice wheels! what's the final offset with the spacers? in other words what spacer size are you using?
as for the "light out" your tails should have been packaged with load resistors (assuming you bought them new). if not get a set of load resistors, i'm unsure as to how many you need, and install them. typically you need one resistor per bulb and our cars have 6 taillight bulbs.
