I've been able to remove the cylinder head, stock twin turbos, and now I'm working on the wiring harness. I'll post some pictures up as soon as I can. The twins were a pain in the *** to remove. I plan on sending the block to get machined, stripping the interior, and saving up for some gaskets.
I picked up an R154 for $300 without a bellhousing and still need to sell my A340 that came with the engine. I have a thread up with these items for sale and I'll be selling my stock 2JZ and tranny when they get pulled.

don't use a 2mm HG, just get a tt one or the stock 1jzgte HG.
Act clutches are very harsh, heavy , noisy and don't last longer.
Southbend makes some great clutches.

Yes ! I have always used the gte hg on the 1jzs since the stock 1jz hg can't be found easily now days.
2jzgte all the way, works great and it's multi layers just like the 1jzgte HG.

I must disagree with quick on those act clutches. Im currently running a act clutch in my r154 and love it, not harsh at all, pedal feels just like oem and no noise. Although mine is a hd plate with a ss disk, not a 6 puck

All the act have dual diaphram so it's heavy when you go with a puck clutch.
With HD the pedals does not feel stock you can ask anyone that run act clutch on jz.
Depending on what clutch you get it will shatter unless you have "the special perfect clutch"
This is the clutch i had on last 5 setups

I ran act on all my R145 for the past 5 years, we are talking about 6 puck not full face.
Search on here and you will see that i have always ran act.
I didn't say that it doesn't work act clutches work great once you start making good power , the only clutches that they offer are HD PP with puck disc so it will chatter , harsh engagement etc..
Have you ever had crankwalk with act clutch? well i did HD pressure caused it.
I am not here to BS yall, This is the information that i had gathered from my own mistakes and i'm sharing with yall so take it for what it's worth!
