i can't tell from most of these shots, but are the black pearl emblems the same color as when you plastidip them or are they more gunmetally/charcoally than black?

the grill and L you have in the front look more gunmetal and i believe those are the supposed to be the same black pearl as the rear ones you have....

I have a quick question for any of you I want to install BC coilovers on my car but I have no idea how those things work like the 16k and 12k stuff.
thank you. 16k/12k are the spring rates of the spring. the higher, the stiffer. i chose 14k/10k because i wanted a nice and smooth ride even as low as i am now. it actually feels like a lexus but my car is still new so everything feels tight...not loose or anything like that. i also can set the stiffness back just like stock with the ***** on top of the shocks. I dont track my car so i really do enjoy the smooth ride.

black pearl is more of a shiny dark gunmetal color. no offense to others but im really against plastic dip parts. just seems cheap. many people are taking it too far and doing too much. ive seen a lot of these plastidipped parts up close and it isn't as clean as you would think because you cant see the flaws in pics.

take this thread for example of what i mean by these cheap owners plasti dipping parts and cheapening the look

Awesome thread and nice mods you have on the car! Question, did you ever install the SS brake line?

yeah got them installed. perfect fitment, good quality , everything went smooth. brake pedal feels very consistant rather than before. hard to explain . does't feel spongey on hot days anymore.

a chipped up clear bra looks bad, especially when other headlights shine on it. i use to detail fora living and you can't correct a chipped up clear bra. Good aftermarket clear is really tough. i rather go that route.

I've seen a clear bra here in Atlanta that chipped and scratched all the way down to the white under the black finish. Clear bra is no guarantee, just another kind of condom.

Its actually neither mercury grey or smokey granite. It is Nebula Gray Pearl. This was a new color starting in 2012.

Yea I have seen plenty of chipped up and very dull looking clear bras. I would rather re-spray the front bumper once every 2 years.
