Pump hanger is all done and i also made the flying lead for the wiring. Now I just need to pull the other pump out of the car and mount it. But first I'm going to do a smoke leak down test at a buddy's shop to makes sure that everything will seal off properly.

So finally started to get the trans apart but didnt get to far. Get most of the small things out until i hit a snag with the puller I used and not having a 32mm socket to take off one of the bolts that are in there. But I have everything needed. Hoping to get this done this week and get the motor dropped in this weekend.

Its not to bad lol just hope putting it back together wont to confusing

Ali didn't see your post.. but yea those coolant lines are not needed.
Got into the trans a bit more until i hit a snag with the press I borrowed from a friend. The main output shaft wouldn't fit between the two pillars on the bottom of the press so I'm going to hit up a friends shop that has a bigger press that should work. Hope to get this done either tonight or tomorrow and finish the trans. That way I can get the motor back in FINALLY!
There will be a lot of pics of the trans because it want to have a reference if I run into a snag and have to look at something again to make sure its going on right..
Reverse gear, hub sleeve and bearing retainer removed..
Everything off and laid out..
Input shaft removed to replace bearing and syncro
And this is where I stopped because the press wouldn't do the work for the main shaft I needed to do

Got the main shaft finished last night! My buddy helped me out on pressing the gears off and back on and replacing the syncros. Id say if you have the right tools and parts, rebuilding an R154 is pretty simple. Remember, this is my first trans rebuild and it is truly not all that bad. You just have to make sure you mark and label everything or remember where all the little things go and you'll be fine.

so I go back to re-assemble to trans and I noticed something really ****ty after the main shaft was all pressed back on with the new parts.
The NO.2 Clutch Hub is cracked. Not sure if this was already there or after it was pressed on. I went to clean the surface to put in a new syncro and I noticed a fairly big crack in the clutch hub. Fortunately this part is only $80 from a Toyota parts dealer online. ****ty part is the entire main shaft has to be taken apart to get to that gear Assembly.. aw well live and learn.. Im just glad I caught this while it was apart, I'm sure if I didn't it would grenade the entire trans.
Also cleaned the casings and replaced the oil seals.
AND the cracked Gear...

Back from vacation and a few parts have been waiting for me.. Got the replacment Gear hub and ended up with the AEM V2. I was going to go with Proefi but the V2 was to good to pass up and I'm already setup to run AEM so it was a smarter choice for me I believe. Sometime down the road ill go proefi but to get the car going sooner, i choice the AEM V2.
Pressed the old and cracked hub gear off for the replacement.
And got most of the trans put back together. Hopefully this week it will be done and mounted on the motor. If so motor can finally go in
All that's left is to connect all the shifting rods and forks.
Marlin Crawler Heavy duty bearing retainer installed. The rest of the MC stuff will also go on this week.
