How did you put the Lexus lettering and logo on the calipers? I have to say that is pretty sharp!

i found these vinyl stickers on ebay that stick to them. they work great. they were like 10$

also found out the hard way that i needed to use the 95 lower ball joints due to the different geometry of the caliper and lower ball joint touching.

everythign is great now except i still think i have a little air in the lines and theres kind of a grinding noise in the front right but nothing is hitting i keep checking.

anyone around the area that can roll my fenders.

i just got an alignment and the rear is maxed out in negative camber. im downgrading my rear tires from 275-40 to 255-35. i think thatll clear. ill post pictures of the clearance later.

definitely needs a drop but i know that is on the way. love the new brakes and yes downsize the tires and they should fit over the fenders better. you may not need a roll depending on your drop. btw, i highly recommend cutting the rear arches rather than roll since the metal is very thick.

wont cutting them instead of rolling make that peiece of metal more plyable? thus making it weaker?

cut the fronts and roll the rears.

the fronts will dimple when rolled because of the square hole for the fender liner.

well the fronts clear fine. its just the rear actually.

ditched the fan clutch and switched to two 14" e-fans.
also modded the air box. so that when the fans are blowing it blows its pretty much directly into the air filter. ill try and grab pictures. basically the air resoivior on the shroud i just grinded a hole in it. kind of a ram air concept.

...yeahhh that's not going to really have any effect at all....

Once the car's moving,, or once the motor's really revving, that air is going to go everywhere. Plus the vacuum from the motor is going to be way stronger than 2 unducted fans.

nice job bringing her back! ive always thought the 1990 was a special car. since it was the first one. these are getting kinda hard to find in the almost geriactric age and even harder to find clean examples that haven't had the crap beat out of them. from looking at the pics, it looks like you have a not horrible interior, which is also rare these days!

the modded hole in the air resevoir for the intake? well i dont think it would do anythign negative towards it.
i havent noticed any differences.

also the car is down right now due to the fan pulley bracket is grinding when it spins it sound awful.

it looks like ill be able to get away with replacing it withough having to pull the crank, caps, timing belt off.

im using lexls tutorials. is there anything i can get around with out having to take off. like the radiator for example.

nvm on my question about that i already got it off.

fyi only things i took off was the distributor cover/timing belt covers and all the other bolts were right there in my face. most 14mm
the two hardest to get to and locate were the two hidden around the ac compresor

i ordered one from ebay the dorman but i heard they dont line up well so im going to autozone to buy one there and then prob take the ebay one back to autozone lol....

putting them on first try

after tweaking with them.

the fronts are 225-40-18
the rears are still 275-40-18 that why its not that low in the rear yet. got it as low as possible before rubbing for now.
im prob going to change them to 245-40's

rides great though so far. i have the front dampner is set to 25 (32 being the max)
the rears are set to a litlle more stiffer i think i left them at 29
