Sadly this never came to light as other projects took over. I'm going to part this vehicle out, put it back to stock and sell it or trade it in.

GL mike... I'm sure you won't have a problem parting out and selling the car...

Cool Refurbishing 2001 GS 430

My God that car is a thing of beauty. You have taken exceptional care of it. I have a 2003 which I bought in 2012. It had not 1 ding, 65,000 miles, mark levinson (that is biting me the *** right now). You're lucky your is pre-digital. I don't trust a car totally controlled ny a nav screen.

I wish you the best. My car has taken a beating in upstate NY. Now stereo is acting up. My 99 ES 300 stereo kicked butt for 15 years and is still going strong I am sure, same for motor. Shocks are unparalleled . I almost think the ES rode smoother.

I wanted a GS for so long. I saw all these complaints about ES 350's. I wanted an older GS before the market fall when co. Started to get cheap with production.

I'd' love an update as to how your car is doing. I'm new and maybe this wasn't the right forum for my ramble. I just really appreciated a car that age looking THAT GOOD.

Best of luck to you

Hi,

Sorry I'm late that those were really kind words. The car is still together and might get picked up soon!

Yes Tony, the car is now sold to a great guy who has posted here in the past. Can't wait to see what he does to it!
