Unfortunately, my ML amp died last night. I was just leaving the mall as my music suddenly stopped and the dreaded high pitched chirping started. At first I was wondering if my iPod broke but upon trying the volume and checking the parking sensors, etc and finally checking google - that's my problem... Sucks

Can anyone confirm that these guys (posted in the ML amp repair thread) are still legit and good?

Very nice, I would have kept the buckles gold.

I just got an email back from the company that repairs it in New York - it's $700 to repair the amp. BUMMER

Gold buckles on graphite damier never existed and was never created by Louis Vuitton. Gold buckles were only used on the white damier. To keep it as "genuine-looking" as I could, I painted it matte black.

Been a LONG time since I posted. Been a bit busy - just got engaged and am currently building a new house - so I'm busy juggling wedding planning and going to house appointments. That also means very little money to do much to the LS... However, I'm able to sneak a little bit here and there...

Small updates, but still worth posting...

Got rid of my eBay HID's cause they were causing me a lot of problems. Bulbs would flicker off and I would have to switch all lights off and back on again in order for them to work again... Only to have them flicker off again 30 seconds later. Figured that I would spend the coin and do it right with Philips Ultinons.

Also picked up some Samsung LED's for the fogs to also replace the HID fogs.

Comparison shot of the Ultinon (driver side) vs eBay (passenger side). Both are 6000k

eBay 6000k

Ultinon 6000K. I'll porbably change out the Nike LED's to pure white too. I wish I had known the ones I originally bought was not actually a pure white.

The Ultinon's and the LED's together.

Another comparison. You can see the blue tint on the passenger side.

Also was able to pick up an exhaust from Prepboy607. I contacted him immediately when I saw him post it since it's hard to come by... It was always "in production" whenever I inquired about it.

Got it yesterday... Pristine condition. Just a little bit of elbow grease and it was back to brand new!

That's all I got for now... I hope to do a body kit some time next year...but we'll see! Car is still in hiberation for now until March/April. Winter sucks
