This is sort of a slow, low budget version of a build thread now.
--------------------------
The car is running GREAT now to fix the ugly!
(YES! THE SIDES ARE GOING JUST AS SOON AS I FIND AN APPROPRIATE PLACE TO BURN THEM)
Wheels first:
You gents will be relieved to know the ugly chrome wheels were sold today to someone who does not own a Lexus. You will likely never see them again unless you join a Hyundai forum.
REJOICE!
I got 5-SC430 wheels with Blizzak MZ-03 tires today and a set of pre-owned JDM Work wheels today.
They may look like 9 dirty, old wheels to some of you, but they look like STRAIGHT UP LOVE to me. I cant wait!
Lets see how a better fit/stance helps the car!

Got my stock headlights today
They were orange so I went to work on them right away.
I wet sanded with 600, 800, 1000, 1500 and one hr at 2000. It was too late for the noise of the buffer so I rubbed in some PlastX for a preview.
Serious buff tomorrow morning.
Then it's Clear Coat time.
EDIT!: DONE!

WITH A HEAVY HEART, I BRING YOU THIS SAD NEWS.
The Beloved Octane Motorsports Body Kit lovingly discussed below will not be with us much longer. She has inspired much passion amongst SC enthusiasts. Highlights below.

Ahhhhhhh The Love!
Let me continue.......
Someone backed into my car and started the torrent of damage fiberglass kits endure in this city.
THIS FOLKS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF THIS KIT THAT YOU ALL LOVE SO DEARLY!
(I will put it in the classifieds early so you all can fight over it and bid into oblivion. Good Luck!)
You already missed out on the ugly chrome wheels (they are appropriately housed on a Hyundai now).
DON'T BLOW IT! (The Skirts are so YOU!)

I would basically undo everything that has been done to that car.
Great color though! Speaking of color, that car must have been repainted because there is no way they got that color that close to matching on that car given the kit and wheels.
Don't worry though, the car itself is in far better shape than many and is something to be proud of

Good color choice, I'm jealous of how well maintained the body and interior are. But the body kit, wheels, ebay tails and headlights need to go ASAP. Return the body to stock, and you'll be gravy. Other than that, you have a great platform to start out with.

Thanks Biddles! I used to love those. Early FWD right? Any pics big pimpin' ?
Thanks Joey! I try to remember not to take myself too seriously, it was some FUNNY STUFF!
AND, most importantly, you guys were right. I've tuned my eye and I can see it now.
I understand how to "freak" this beast now!
Just wait till I get some more money to spend!!!
