I have slowly begun fixing stuff on this car. Inner led tail lights where starting to fade so I swapped in some replacements. And now the new ones are much darker than the outers. I might end up having to spray the old ones. Replaced the front passenger lock actuator for the second time. Hopefully this one last longer than the new one I used last time. I'm also still trying to figure out the brakes. Good news is it seems my high disc faces will clear the caliper without spacers. I still have a lot to figure out though. Hopefully I can carve out time soon to install the front fenders.
I test fit the front fenders over the weekend. Currently the fenders are back off while I cut and re-glass the inside mount to get them flush with the door.
Well, I ignored my rational side. JDM OEM optional skirts have been installed
is it the pics or is there a gap under where the fender meets the side skirts?

on the last pic is that vent functional?
i love the Wise front bumper, i almost bought this exact one many years ago when Ron was selling it (Ron sold it to Rob (Lalex), who then sold it to you. i would have snapped it up if it was polyurethane, i hate fiberglass

you seriously are debbie downer you know? its fiberglass, they have to be shaped....
There is currently a gap because the rubber strip that is part of the stock lower panel is no longer there. I will probably silicone the strip it to the sideskirt once everything is done. The fender comes with a hole already cutout although I'm not sure how much venting it will do. Yes, I went back a forth with Lalex for a while before he put it up for sale and finally pulled the trigger when he did.
I didn't notice it on IG but see what you are talking about the fender meeting the bumper .You are missing a piece they make a cap that goes on your bumper that makes it meet up
Replacement 2pc vented front fenders with bumper caps
Nyc80rick, i have that part. It will be molded into the bumper. I didn't realize that that was what the other poster was talking about. I assumed he was familiar with the kit. I was talking about blending the parts where the vertical meeting line is under the headlight.

this is what i was talking about. didnt realize that you needed th "blend/shave/add" that much to make it fit. I have been contemplating these for a year now and can not justify spending that much more money on my car....kinda getting over it to be honest, need something with better gas mileage, but i love my car.....oh the dilemmas

It takes a little bit of work if you want it to look clean instead of the drift missile look. I want an E46/E92 M3 but this is currently the cheaper alternative. I would still need a 4 door daily even if I got an M3 so that is why I am fixing this after it got so beat up.
that and they are just great cars, I have had mine for 9 years and no issues except 1 window regulator....and they are just not worth crap anymore, it is a shame
After years of agony and replacing everything in the front end, finally no more clunks. Figs steering rack bushings were the final piece to the puzzle. I attempted to change them a couple years ago but quit when I couldn't get the driver side bushings off. Didn't quit today and no more clunks. Tomorrow hopefully I can start practice welding on my spare fenders and then finally get off my butt and get the rear overfenders on.
