It looks so much like mine minus the front lip. What a beautiful car man.
With everything said and done Andrew, are you finally happy with it all now? Are we ever? Just how much do you think you have in her? I don't even want to count my receipts on mine.

I don't have any issues, just gripes. It's very grabby. I can't slip it to drive up my driveway when it's warmed up. It never slips under full power though. I doubt I can drag race this clutch and do better than my Spec Stage 4+ that I had before.
Happy now? No. I won't be complete, ever. I hit 35 psi today which should be 850whp now. I need to retune and see how far I can go now, since I fixed the leaking injector issue. Maybe 39 psi. Who knows. But my shifter doesn't have a precise feeling to me. It will need to be addressed in the future. I have polyurethane diff mounts that need to be installed. Audio system needs to be upgraded. And get wheels to fix this brake rotor warping issue. I have spent over $13k, in just a year. Not including the price of the car and all that. And when I bought the car it made 740whp on race gas.

Just bought another set of Supra TT chrome wheels. Just gotta wait for the seller to ship them out. Then I will ship 2 of the rears out to get widened. Then take the 4 rear wheels and get them rechromed. Then run 2 rears in the front, and the widened rears in the back with a 315/40/17 tire. Oh man.

Changed the spark plugs yesterday, got the same ones I've been using already.

And recently found out that you can use the SC400 Toyota oil filter on 2JZ motors. The SC400 filter is about half an inch larger than the stock 2JZ one. It's a common thing on Supra's, so I will install it tomorrow along with an oil change using Rotella T6 5w40.
Changing the spark plugs made a big difference in spool this time around (as well as the slight adjustment in tune), maybe mine were worn but they didn't look it. I change oil and plugs very often. My oil is changed every 600-1000 miles. Spark plugs about every 2-3 months.
Boost is hitting much harder now, and a lot of it. As soon as 4000 rpm hits, it's crazy drama. Wheel spin, wastegate scream.. Hit 34.3 PSI today in 4th gear, and it scared me a little.
Dyno Day is coming up March 1st, and I will be in it. Gotta do a couple more pulls and mess with the tune. Aiming for 35 psi 850whp.

Update:
I've been having issues with ignition lately. I've changed the spark plugs and wires, no fix. Seems like the HKS DLI has gone bad, so I've been researching my coil pack options. I was set on the LQ9 conversion, but can't run them since they hit the intake manifold. VVTI packs seem like a viable option as well.
But then I asked First State Motorsports and they said to get the Okada Plasma Booster. So I think I will. It's just 2 wires and should be comparable to the HKS DLI I have now. I will order it tomorrow and install it this week and see if it works. I've been stuck around 23psi since anything above that causes issues. Trying to go up to 35psi and hit 850whp hopefully. We will see.
On a side note:
I've been running around for weeks and doing logs in the car with the AEM, and would make fuel adjustments but it would never adjust to the range I want for WOT. My friend was messing with the map and hit optimize fuel map, and boom I can make .01ms adjustments now instead of the huge .07. So now I can get my AFR's right because I have a finer control of the fuel adjustments. I have to fix this ignition issue and retune and dyno. Maybe even a little drag strip, but this clutch is horrible at everything and I want to get a twin plate now.

I am moving to England at the end of the year. So I am not trying to spend a bunch of money on the car. I will do the plasma booster for now. And when I come back I will do the ffim and LQ9 conversion.

Plasma Booster doesn't work for my power level apparently, so I am gonna put it up for sale.
I ordered everything for the VVTI coil pack conversion. Just waiting on all the parts to come in and then I will install it and hopefully be done with these ignition issues.

Started pulling the car apart to start the VVTI coil pack conversion.
I've order a lot of things and received most of it. I replaced the boots on the coil packs. The wires I ordered were in the right box, but wrong wires, so I will have to send them back to Rock Auto and get the right ones.
I also got the shortened distributor cover and installed that too. Now I have to wait for the ignitor connector and coil pack connectors to come in and then I will start wiring it up.
Anyone know of someone that makes VVTi coil pack mounts or brackets? The coil packs sit on the spark plugs but are wobbly. It would be cool if there were a metal bracket for them.
