Update:

Installed the valve cover. Tried to build the lines for the catch can. I ordered an -AN fitting wrench. Nicked up a fitting pretty good, so I ordered a new one. The wrench is non marring, so next time I won't mess up anything.

Update:

Did more things today. Connected the intercooler pipes (hot side), started connecting the harness. Polished the turbo housing a little. Started putting together the intake manifold and went to install the injectors.

Apparently I don't have the spacers needed for these injectors, as my old injectors didn't need it. Talked to my friend at Injector Dynamics, and he will be overnighting me some aluminum spacers for the manifold. So that will be fixed.

Also installed the oil filter housing, which I had welded by Racefab, as CTS is in Rio Rancho, I ain't got time for that. So I have very few things left to do. Get the intake manifold assembled, connect all the lines and harness. Count how many extra bolts I have laying around and wonder where they go...

Update:

Got some more things done today. The AN fitting wrenches came in, and they won't fit even though they are -10 sized. So I will have to return them. Intake manifold is fully assembled, and all vacuum lines are on. I just have to get either some small zip ties to secure the lines or springy clips. So now I have to;

-install the last two intercooler piping pieces
-zip tie the lines
-secure the clutch line
-find that Rotella T6 5w40 oil
-get Toyota coolant
-make the catch can lines

I am aiming to have it running and tuned within the next two weeks. I can start it now but the tune is set for injectors that are half the size as my new ones.

Update:

Well, it is time! Engine is assembled and ready to go besides some very minor things. Engine is filled with Rotella 15w40 oil. All vacuum lines are secured, clutch line is secured, battery is connected.

I have to get the intake pipe for the turbo welded with the catch can fitting. Make the catch can lines, plug the intake manifold pcv port, get distilled water for the Toyota Coolant. I also have to purge the old fuel out and put in new fuel, that's why the fuel lines aren't installed. Other than those things, the car is ready. I will probably go to either Superior or Street Custom to have them align my hood, we aren't very good at that.

Oh my god, are you clowns ready?? :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

hey can you share some more info on what had to happen with the injectors boss? I have the same lower intake for my other motor I'm building. What did you end up having to do?

Drift,

Where did you order that TRD oil filler cap from and the part number.

Thanks,

Shane

The stock injectors have a rubber spacer that the injector sits in. My last set of injectors didn't need it. So I contacted T1 race development and they sent me some aluminum spacers.

Update:

Got the turbo intake housing welded with the fitting I needed. Then went home and started making the lines. Couple hours later, the lines are made and installed. I then filled the car with Toyota Red coolant, distilled water, and a bottle of Redline Water Wetter. I also filled the power steering reservoir up. I ordered a new coolant reservoir since the one I have is yellow looking.

So now I am just waiting on the master from Cam Tuning to let me know when he is ready for me. I also have to get 12 gallons of 91 and flush the remaining gas out of the tank using 6 gallons and then fill it after with the other 6.

Also thinking of ordering new rear tires because I am pretty sure I will be spinning on the dyno and everywhere else. I will stick with the Nitto NT05R for the Supra wheels, and get the Mickey Thompson ET Street II for the CCW's.

Update:

Talked to Discount Tire. I will be ordering some new rear tires with them. Nitto NT05R 275/40/17. The same as I have now. I have to order it Monday since the Nitto warehouse isn't open on the weekend.

Anyone running AEM EMS V1 that has the settings for ID2000 Injectors? My tuner said he might stop by tomorrow, but I just wanted to see if anyone had that information.
