UPDATE:

so I finished the wiring last night! yay dont want to do that again :/



Today got loads done, put clutch and trans on, got everything torqued, and dropped it in. heres some pics

Here is the exact amont of string needed to put in cyl 1 to lock it to get the crank pulley to 239 ft-lbs, which I did with my super awesome torque wrench

this is my partner in JDM engine swapping crime (he has a SR20VE swapped 200sx built for auto-x)

I still need to do the heater core lines, intercooler, and exhaust, but other than that its lookin good!

UPDATE:

So today I got all the pipng figured out and buttoned her up, and.........ITS ALIVE MUAHAHAHAHAHAHaHA


all is well except there is a miss at idle and stuters around 3k rpm, any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE

well the whole swap is done and driving great, the stutter was due to improperly gapped plugs and some cracks in the coils. After fixing those issues it runs amazing, feels better than when I was NA-T for sure.

Ill post a better video once my exhaust comes in.

thanks, Im loving it so far, is 16 psi a reasonable amount to run on the twins?

I wouldn't run no more. I think between 12-14 is the safest. From my research on here.

12-14 psi is a good number...the twins will last a while. the more boost you run on those twins the faster they will explode

Hey man the swap looks perfect good job

I'm currently in my garage dropping my 1jz in right now but I have question

The plug that's on the power steering rack on the driver side right before the motor mount where is that connector at? Some folks say its behind the alternator I'm dumb and can't locate it did you find it?

Ok cool, because of the dumps its running around 14 psi, with good afrs, ill leave it there. Are there any considerable gains to be had getting it dyno tuned with an afc neo?
