I believe I am done with the picture updates for at least 2 weeks as there are other forums where I have linked this build thread to and I want to keep this crazy color a secret up until Mfest which is going down in Vegas May24-27

Or maybe I'll post a sneak peek in a couple days...

Started molding my trunk spoiler in yesterday after work.

It's coming along nicely!

Yes sir I will.

I have access to a paint booth so that won't be a problem. I'm still deciding if I should do the raised quarter panels as it may look a little off without me doing so.

I primarily used fiberglass as bondo will tend to crack and not adhere properly to the trunk. Still not fully done but will be using a small amount of bondo to get that smooth surface.

lol no problem...

You see this picture here:

Notice the gap that has been created from the lip of the trunk spoiler to the bottom edge of where the quarter panel/ taillight sits? Well if you check out this picture below you can see that the quarterpanels have been modified to get a nice smooth line that runs from the trunk spoiler to the quarter panel.

ohhh, well in that case, yes, i think you should raise the quarter panels as well. depending on how much work is involved, it looks worth it to do.

Quick question guys... I'm up in the air as to what color green I should wrap my car in.

I'm stuck between gloss green, satin green, matte green or green chrome!

Only have a couple hours to decide before I pull the trigger on a color. The car has to be done and wrapped by the end of next week! If i do green chrome I believe I will be the first 2is to do green chrome.

Thanks in advance for the input!

I think green at all is an interesting color on the 2IS, but out of those idk. My vote would be matte green b/c I think green chrome is a little bit too much. But then again, I've never seen it before...

I ended up pulling the trigger on the green chrome. It's different and I have yet to see anyone else with it in person. I should be receiving the material early next week then I'll be breaking down the car in preparation for the wrap.

Things didn't turn out too well when I started applying the green chrome as the adhesive on the wrap was crap! I ended up scrapping all of that and resorted to plasti dipping the whole car. I didn't like that so I ended up ordering gloss lime green vinyl wrap yesterday morning. should be here by Friday of this week. Here are some pics of what I have so far:
