Ive been wondering where you went Jimmy. Glad to hear your going with the ProEFI over the V2. I spent all day yesterday talking with Chris at D3 with the 1JZ Supra on the dyno, and what a headache the V2 was.

aem v2 is all sold. got priced for a proefi and will be ordering it tomorrow. I would get it from d3 if i didn't have to pay for taxes. lol. I was thinking of waiting for a proefi sale but I don't know if they are having one anytime soon. The earliest would be for tax returns. I will finish everything up on the car and leave that for last. I save 400 bucks if I go with a plug and pin kit. I might give d3 another shot and see if I can't get it out the door for the same price as SP or induction performance. I would much rather have it all local but saving 300 in tax is a lot.

Proefi will be on the way in the morning. Now i need to buy the color can display/logger, wideband, and one or two pressure sensors. One for fuel and maybe one for oil as well. I am pretty excited about the proefi, but I will have to make a new harness as i have opt for the plug and pin kit. Time for a firewall cannon plug.

Car is currently at the old house and will get trailer as soon as the weather permits. 25-30 degree weather in Houston causes for a city shutdown. Lol. When are you doing your next sets of mods 97-sc300. I gotta built my new proefi harness. It should be here Wednesday. Order the proefi can display/logger from sp as well. I have no clue when the sensors and display will ship hopefully soon. I'm so ready to get working in my new garage. Gotta have the garage door raise so I can put a lift in. . Definitely one of my childhood dreams coming true.

guess it was a bad idea to order the display from them. 3 month back order would suck.

i'm getting my proefi today with the plug and pin kit in the mail. Hopefully I will get cracking on the cannon plug wiring harness. I am having thoughts about going with a 2jzgte vvti since the proefi can control the vvti functions and dbw. Nothing better than having a big turbo that spools faster because of vvti. I need to stop myself from thinking all the non sense. lol I just need to get my car running.

Proefi is here with latest firmware. I will start the harness this week. I'm still waiting on the wideband and 2 150 psi sensors. The can display can be installed at a later time.

I am jealous of you. You car actually runs and drives and is utterly clean. My car is just a collection of parts with completion nowhere in sight.

I went underneath the passenger headlight. The 3 inch piping fits perfectly there. If I had to redo it I wouldn't have bought the turbo with the 90 degree bend already attach. This will do for now.

I finally was able to move the car into the new house. Fits quite nicely with the turbo sticking out ready to play.
