Hopefully I will get it done mid may. I can't decide if I wanna spend the money for a miller Tig or just buy a mig. I need a welder to finish up my car. I figure the cost for a welder is the same as paying for the labor. I welded competively in high school, but that was like 11 years ago I hope I haven't lost it. Lol.

Block prepped

Head prepped

Arp headstuds and Tt hg with some copper stuff. I just put some on for extra security. I figured it couldn't hurt anything and my friend build quite a bit of motors for his drag cars that run in pro mod. He just said have a fun time taking off the head once you have use that copper spray.

Arp screwed me on the headstuds. I have one nut that wasn't the right one. They are sending me a new one. So the head isn't torqued down.

I am waiting for my lincoln welder to show up so i can weld in the 6 speed tunnel. Slowly but surely this project will get done.

Little update.

My welder came in yesterday so today i was able to install the 6 speed tunnel with spot welds in the car and laid down some sound deaden material.

The arp head stud nut came in today so the motor will get put together soon. I cleaned all the parts yesterday at work so everything will look fresh and new. More pictures coming soon

Nice, Win. Cannot wait to see you up and running. Keep it up. BTW, did your S366 come with the 90 degree compressor housing outlet?

edit: NVM saw first page again

I have been toying with the idea of painting my car a different color. I was either thinking same stock color or lexus starfire pearl or crystal white. Any suggestions as to which color you would prefer. I always wanted a white car and since I have everything apart right now would be a great time to do everything. If not stock color will be going back on the car.

EDIT. NVM both of thos colors are TRI stage paint job. I want a 2 stage paint job that has the pearl mixed in with the base. Anyone know of a color that is like the starfire and crystal white, but in a 2 stage paint ( base and clear).

This build is very similar to what I'll be doing with mine! I'm definitely looking forward to updates and results!
