Well , you are right parting it out gets more money than selling it running . Nobody just don't like high priced SCs. We have seen so many high powered and really nice SCs for sale that ended up being parted because no one will buy them.
If you ever decide to part , a buddy of mine is looking for a good condition 6 speed V160 tranny and differential / axles. Or I can take yours and he can take the 6 speed swap I have that I bought a year or two ago.

Your build is so close to what I'm doing, sad to see it being taken apart. On a related note, how did you like the RMR throttle body? I'm about to pull the trigger on one but some first hand experience would be appreciated.
Did you get the standard rotation one for use with the GE TPS?

Thanks, I ordered mine. Took some going back and forth with them to figure out which rotation exactly was needed but ended up I just went out to my car and paid attention as I turned the throttle. Now I don't have to have any dirty Ford parts on my car!
good luck with your new ride!

But before you know it, you are enjoying the car and would decide to keep it. It is a sad fact that no one would buy a built SC for a good price nor people are willing to pay a premium for performance parts. Even MKIV owners look for bargains ...I do, who doesn't ? You would always take a loss either way not unless you had a real good deal on the built car or the parts themselves.
Some people don't realize that building a car for power ain't cheap. The reason why so many abandon projects and part things out.... they reach a point that even the small things will nickle and dime you.
You are almost there Jim.... you got everything , a matter of getting it run. I wish you all the best !!!
