I can taste it. Pretty damn close. Just wire up the new computer, flex fuel sensor, power steering cooler, and radiator fluid.

Get it running jwin before even thinking of selling it otherwise they won't pay you much for it. You are almost there.

Was trying to part it out but its looking like i am just going to finish it and drive it for a bit then part it out. I think if i get it running i probably won't sell it unless someone has a supra they wanna trade for it.

Will be tough but not impossible for a supra mkiv owner to trade with an SC. Our SC do not have favourable looks or values to MKIV owners even if you got a 1000rwhp setup on the SC. They frown at our SC .

Well , you are right parting it out gets more money than selling it running . Nobody just don't like high priced SCs. We have seen so many high powered and really nice SCs for sale that ended up being parted because no one will buy them.

If you ever decide to part , a buddy of mine is looking for a good condition 6 speed V160 tranny and differential / axles. Or I can take yours and he can take the 6 speed swap I have that I bought a year or two ago.

Anything you'd like to just send my way I'll pay shipping and handling

On another note...I'm sad to see that this ended like this.

Your build is so close to what I'm doing, sad to see it being taken apart. On a related note, how did you like the RMR throttle body? I'm about to pull the trigger on one but some first hand experience would be appreciated.

Did you get the standard rotation one for use with the GE TPS?

Yes I got the adapter to use with the Toyota tps. The quality on it is amazing and I figured I never heard of anything bad coming from rmr.

Thanks, I ordered mine. Took some going back and forth with them to figure out which rotation exactly was needed but ended up I just went out to my car and paid attention as I turned the throttle. Now I don't have to have any dirty Ford parts on my car!

good luck with your new ride!

Will be taking your advice. This week wiring harness will be on not as nice as I would have like it but it will work.

Go for it. Harness doesn't have to be nice. What is important is it is a good running car. At least if you still decide to part it out , hopefully it will be easier since they have seen the car running and all parts are in good shape.

But before you know it, you are enjoying the car and would decide to keep it. It is a sad fact that no one would buy a built SC for a good price nor people are willing to pay a premium for performance parts. Even MKIV owners look for bargains ...I do, who doesn't ? You would always take a loss either way not unless you had a real good deal on the built car or the parts themselves.

Some people don't realize that building a car for power ain't cheap. The reason why so many abandon projects and part things out.... they reach a point that even the small things will nickle and dime you.

You are almost there Jim.... you got everything , a matter of getting it run. I wish you all the best !!!
