Just wondering why you chose 38mm TiAl instead of 44mm MV-R?

Did you do the cleaning of the head?
Yea I cleaned the head in a parts washer at work and I went with the used 38mm because it was only 100 bucks. Lol.

Thanks I only had the aluminum tape laying around. It's 500+ mph tape used to patch up airplanes.

I have no clue. I haven't opened it up. Probably 10lbs or something.

Motor is put together for the most part. I need to get different bolts for the Tt valve covers since the GE valve cover uses longer bolts that won't work with the Tt valve covers

Brand new everything in the front from oil pump to timing belt covers

New 6 speed driver axle is .25 inches shorter

6 speed diff with poly bushings about to go in, but I have to remove the exhaust because of the cooling fins. It's 3 am in Houston so that will have to wait until tomorrow.

By the way that's one heavy diff to do by yourself.

I also have to figure out what to do with the GE fan and clutch since it hits the 6 speed dampner. Anyone else have this problem?

You'll have to use the TT fan and shroud I believe to work with the the 6sd drive belt tensioner!

Keep up the good work!

The TT fan and fan clutch are different and I need to use that for it to work. I can keep my fan shroud. The TT fan is fan blades that aren't as wide and the fan clutch sticks out further. I can either go with a dual electric fan setup or a new clutch and fan blade. Both options run about the same amount of money. The OEM fan flow about 3300 CFM without drawing an amps from your electrical system. Right now I am not sure what I would like to do. Any suggestions and why?

The MOJO performance Lq9 coilpack setup doesn't work with a GE head with TT valvecovers. It requires some serious modifications which I am about to do. The GE head doesn't have factory holes in the head to screw the coilpacks to like the TT head so you use the factory valve cover holes. The bracket itself hits tubes that connect each side of the Tt valvecover and the spacers aren't long enough.

I believe both fan clutch is the same. Just the fans are different.

If you look at the fan clutch you see that the TT one is sitting a little bit higher than the GE one. When you bolt it to the water pump the fan will be farther way from the motor than the GE one which will clear the 6 speed dampner. I think you need both the fan and the clutch to clear the dampner it hits it pretty bad.

Oh I see, you are having issues with the dampener. Most people use the same fan clutch without thedampener. I guess electric fans would be your best bet.

Only the is300 electric works really. The oem fan is the best options.

Thank you for the help. I figured the fan blade is what made the picture looks like the clutch was different. I'm so close but I'm waiting for my clutch from southbend. Do you know if the na supra fan shroud have the same mounting points as a Tt shroud. I have a supra radiator but I want the shroud without the extra hole for the aux fan.
