Waiting on southbend to get my clutch back and drop this baby back in the car. Hopefully I will get it next week. Does anyone know the turn around time with them for getting a clutch and pressure plate back?

I'm using the instructions from mojo performance since I am Running lq9 coilpacks. If you are running vvti coils Ali sc3 has a write up. Hope that helps.

I sent my oem clutch disc and pressure plate and told southbend how much hp/Tq I wanted to run and we decided on a 6 pick feramic disc with an upgraded pressure plate. Im pretty impressed. Clutch is installed and I am about to drop the motor in after I finish shrinking the wiring harness.

Yea it doesn't change any of those things. Just a hump to clear the tripod shifter.

Everything is ready to drop in beside my harness which I took apart to make it smaller and to put braided nylon wire loom instead of the plastic. I've been thinking about parting ways with my car. My wife wants me to finish it and enjoy it for a bit then part ways. I know that I won't ever get the money back but will lose even more with it together. Parting out is always better than trying to sell it as a whole. I really don't have the time to put it together with family being more important to me than a car. It is still a very hard decision as I know my shell is limited to buyers with a 6 speed tunnel in it already. I will keep you guys updated on my decision.

That sucks to hear you're thinking of parting it again. That's crazy talk.

The 95-97 SC300 5spds all came with that hump-style tunnel which is exactly the same as the 6spd tunnel because those model year SCs had a tripod shifter on the W58s. Just an FYI.

NO I hope you don't decide to part it out/part with it. But family is family man! I'm sure you'll make a great decision and the right one.

My wife wants me to keep it, but my job has me in the heat already and the last Thing I wanna do is be back in the heat to work on the car on the weekend. I don't have anything else to upgrade if I part this car out. Last time I parted out my r154 so i could purchase the v160 setup. I need to get some motivation again. STUPID Houston HEAT

You seem extremely close to finishing it off. I'm sure you'll keep it.

I have all of the parts just gotta drop the motor in. Remove the wires I don't need off of the engine wiring harness and put braided nylon on it. Install my new fuel lines and mount my battery box in the trunk. Need to fit my downpipe and intercooler piping then break in my clutch and off to the tuner I go.

How is your adventure going?

Good. Looking at 2 turbos right now and still reading a bunch on the install of the gte ecu, cop conversion and distributor delete and maf and all that crap. Thats the part that has me itchy and nervous. All the heavy stuff is just waiting on cash.
