Here's all I got for now. They have some quality issues from the carbon not adhering well t the fog cover but the clear coat and finish turned out pretty good. They're here to stay until I get bored enough to redo them, or until someone points out the flaws in person. No one has even really noticed them yet.

Thank you. I wanted to trade this car for a 370z back on 2011. My "for trade" post is probably still up on the 370z forum. Love those cars too, especially with an Amuse kit

I always felt the intercooler was a little small. Glad you made the upgrade. Can't wait to see it installed!

Yeah its always been on my back burner, i knew it was tiny. My friends gave me a hard time when i installed it last year about how small of an intercooler it was (they're all supra guys, so my car is overall just "cute" to them hahaha). I need to cut my metal bumper support to fit it i think so more fun ahead.

Nothing major, just made some acrylic rain guards for the vents on my hood. no more worrying about rain and an exposed air filter and boost/wideband wiring!

would you mind sharing how these rain guards were made? and did you make them because you had water issues, and just take them off when you go to shows, etc?

thanks in advance

Supercharger has large exposed air filter directly underneath one of the hood vents. When I drove the car daily I couldn't have it sit in my work parking lot all day and get drenched. Also, I used to have my boost/wideband modules in the engine bay and couldn't have the wiring get wet. The modules have since been relocated under the driver seat but the holes remain covered on the hood still; it rains randomly here, and it helps keep my engine bay stay clean for shows.

The windows aren't permanent but they're sealed with silicone on to the back of the hood.

thanks for your response, always super helpful

another question about your hood. i'm considering getting one but am debating if i want to get it clear bra because if it gets chipped you don't have the option to paint over it to restore it.

also, if manufacture states that the product comes with clear coat, should i trust it or should i get another coat on?

thanks so much ~~

im interested in hearing about how the wideband install went. was it a self install or did you have a shop do it? also, where do you keep the gauge for readings?

I don't think Seibon sells their hoods clear coated and if it is, it is a very thin coat. I would clear coat it regardless, I did mine. Just to help preserve it, even tho I might paint most of mine next year.

My wideband STILL isn't installed... I never have time to get the bung welded in. My gauge is currently mounted on the air vent next to the steering wheel, haven't decided if I want to pillar mount it or not.

Only update I have for now is that I placed 1st Place Best IS and 1st Place Best Lexus at Wekfest Texas over the weekend. So happy and surprised, my build has come so far and there's only more to come from Japan coming soon...
