Been enjoying the SC a lot lately.....was just getting ready to install the mapecu2 and noticed last week when I took it out for a drive that I wasnt able to rev the car past 5k rpm.....it literally sounded like I had a 2 step on stock ECU....lol.
After further investigation I had discovered that #3 coil pack had started to crack and was very brittle......I ended up picking up a set of 30k mile coil packs from a buddy....thanks again man...
I also ordered a new set of coil pack connectors.....I put on generic ones before and they were very brittle and break easily...so opted to go with new OEM toyota ones this time around...

Beginning to accumulate parts for upgrades that will be performed over winter.....updates coming soon...
Picked up a JDL Auto Design Catch can for SC300.....
GS400 Diff awaiting for LSD install...I decided to go this route because I wanted the 3.26 gearing...and didnt want to pay for a JDM 6spd diff with torsen as I would have swapped it out for TRD LSD anyways...
I will be cleaning it up and painting the case and putting in poly bushings...

Car has been parked for winter...
So far I have been able to remove all AC lines, dryer, etc from the car...by doing this it enabled me to tuck my intake side IC piping much higher up...previously all those AC hardlines were in the way...
Also received some custom engine plates from a CL memeber.....I plan on having these powdercoated Black to match valve covers etc..

Hey man, glad you got the plates and the sticker. Looks great!
Let me know how the plates fit. Sounds like I may need to enlarge the bolt holes on the front cover to allow for a little more wiggle room to fit nicely from car to car.

Looking good man!
I wish they made glass low beams as well. I had mine clearcoated a few years back because I got tired of polishing them, but still nothing beats the clarity and durability of glass.
