I should clarify that a little bit. If you run dampened engine mounts, and a solid tranny mount, you can crack the tailshaft because the engine movement ends up twisting the tailshaft. If you run solid mounts all around, you should not have that issue theoretically, but the NVH is TERRIBLE with solid mounts in my experience. Even running the encased supra mounts makes the engine noticeably harsher over the lexus rubber, but I still run them since they are bulletproof.
Good info, thank you! My plan has been to upgrade to Supra engine mounts when necessary (I've read that Supra TRD mounts are VERY harsh in comparison). The car already has been made somewhat stiffer than factory so I don't think it will make much difference. Bulletproof is good!

This is also why I wanted to attempt running a factory R154 trans mount if at all possible despite the crossmember incompatibility. Thankfully I did figure out a solution that uses the MKIII mount. JesLet, I actually haven't scrutinized your pictures. Is there any similarity to the tail mounting holes between the AR5 and the MKIII R154? I know you've got your solution in the works-- just curious.

Tailshaft mounting is different, or else i wouldn't bother making a custom crossmember.

Here's what i have for strenghtening the factory crossmember. Don't hate

Aristo reservoir retrofit, don't want to spend $140-$170 for the MK4 ones.

TiAl 44 with springs

10 PSI springs red and black

Tial 44 installed also MK4 radiator, trimmed the shroud to make it fit. Next, fuel lines, AEM boost solenoid lines to the turbo and wastegate.

Thanks for kind words... Yes that Dremel is awesome. It has beaten to death, overheated, 3rd pair of carbon brush and still running!
