Mahalo brother.

Been busy at work, I only have 3 hours a day to work on it. A lot of cutting, grinding, fabricating the intercooler piping.

I decided to run the pipe on this hole

More clearance here, painted, can't see the cut

Used this cheap tool from Harbor Freight.

Custom bike crank as a shifter.... 4 inch crank shortened to 3 inch plus added a bar to strenghtened it. Little piece with hex bolt came from the same AR5 tranny, I have to trim it. That big bolt came from Home Depot. 4 inch crank is a bit too long so i have to trim it to 3 inches... now it sits right in the middle of the shifter bezel. Hits nothing, good clearance.

Off to the machine shop for welding, I have to modify the downpipe.

Each pipe is marked with colored Sharpie, so the welder knows where to weld them.

Thanks Rey. I did not know they have those sleeves... I would have use them to wrap my heater hoses. I'd like to see your build thread soon.

Filled the trans with this GL3 oil... Reviews says running GL5 oil on AR5 is not good.
