SC4: My daily build (pic heavy)

Bitter sweet update - RIP Paul Walker
This has been terrible news, I hoped so badly it was a hoax.. I remember seeing the first movie in theater when I was 14 and it seriously had an impact to my future. I'd have to say my love and respect for cars started at that moment and is now why I spend countless hours and dollars on research and parts. I feel like I have an empty spot in my heart, such a cool dude on and off the screen. RIP buddy, my condolences to your family, friends and followers around the world, the car gods will take it from here.
On a positive note, I got a SC400 MINT front lip for $18 at the PnP Friday. I didn't even see it while I was getting the door lock actuator out until I was looking at it thinking what else I needed before leaving. Lucky find for sure. Sorry for the dirty car, its been raining off and on for days and don't want to waste a wash.

Been a long time since an update and a lot has changed. The SC300 was a one step forward, 2 steps back kinda deal. It just needed too much work to satisfy me so I sold it and went looking for a better condition, 97+ SC and came up with this..
The day I sold the SC300...
To me it was a huge upgrade going from a really beat up 92 with 260k for a minty 97 with 200k. It had a couple minor mechanical problems but nothing I couldn't handle. Within a couple of weeks I replaced/fixed the wheel bearing, driver side control arm, exhaust leak, antenna mast, subwoofer wiring and new keys. So, a bone stock SC400 just waiting/begging for mods. I haven't fully decided what to do but I have a spare 2jzge motor and am pretty positive I'll start building a slow NA-T swap.
Long story short, I now have a 97 SC400 and am starting all over again lol... Just this time its a much cleaner canvas and don't need to touch the body at all, well maybe a lip. I wish I could change the title to "SC4"..

Well, I sold all of the eBay turbo parts except the intercooler and am on the hunt for quality pieces this time. I'm sticking to a T4 Holset or Borg Warner, shooting for around 450 - 500HP on high boost (18-20psi). Help me choose which size would be best for this range while keeping in mind response and cost lol. I want to keep the turbo cost around $850 or less..
Starting all over again and this is what I have so far lol
Its rated for up to 50PSI, the only time I'll ever hit that boost is if it's on the way to replacing the motor lol..

Figured I would come back and say hi on my 10 year reunion of joining this forum. I still check in on tech things here and there, especially the GTE ECU mod thread, it's helped me a lot. I finally picked up my dream car last year too, I've thrown some money at it and it's coming along nicely.
