Thanks for all the kind words guys. I still have a few small things to touch up, side markers being one of them lol. I should have all of that touched up this week as we're getting ready for a car show very soon.
A friend was at my shop the other day and he was talking about Club Lexus. Made me think back to this post. Decided to bring it back from the dead and post an "update" lol. Decided to paint the car about a year ago and this is what I ended up with. There is no color code for this. It's ALL red metal flake sprayed over a black base. No red paint, no red candy. Just flakes and clear. Hours and hours of sanding and spraying. My good friend did the spraying, we both jammed the prep and body work and I got stuck cutting and buffing. Added a few extra little touches as well. Oh and yes, It's not on bags, STATIC all day!
Man that color is cool. Ive never seen all flake without paint thst sounds like a ***** to spray!

I cant imagine being static dropped that low dude! Can you even clear a quarter stood on edge? you must have some good roads in HI or a good chiropractor 😂
good to see you still have the car lookin good after a few years. I hate to see the ones that get built then never maintained or anything until theyre basically only good for parts and scrap
