Yes u r right
For the cf air vent that r actual functional one from 3d design for bmw m3 cost would be 1200 for parts only n u do need to cut ur own hood i would go for it but
If u want that thing to actually doing the job u need to locate it right ... Which i have no idea where the right spot to locate so the hot air pulls out the most
Option two seibon cf vent hood
Too much vent and possible with water issue due to its just big massive holes on hood
And last air scoop i am not very inform about that mod but there was iss ? Some kind of air scoop mod that may bring better air flow ? But thats been long gone since its not really doing the job and makes ur horn sound lil bit off

I believe the air scoops were ISS Forged RMI scoops. I remember ordering from Janoy. The only reason the horn would sound "off" is due to improper installation. I've installed my set on two different cars (ISFs) without any issues. And yes, the scoops are supposed to push additional airflow up to the intake. I do not believe definitive proof was ever provided, but they were relatively cheap and provide some additional flare through the grille.

With regards to the hood, if you cannot determine exactly where to place functional ones, I would simply install non-functional ones for aesthetic purposes. Kind of like the fake air vent on the hood of the previous generation Mustang GT. That's my only visual qualm with the ISF; the hood is boring and doesn't make any kind of statement. I would get some of those vents if they weren't ridiculously priced.
