here is a pic of what i was trying to explain. as you can see removing the painters tape cause the plastidip part to lift up as well.
ima try removing the tape right after spray to prevent it, but run the risk of not having clean lines.
any have any ideas?
actually thats the right thing to do when it comes to plasti dip.
after you spray let it sit for a few min maybe 5 at the most. that way it can dry a little bit so you can pull the tape up while it still wet and not having it bleed.

welp im an idiot haha
it'll be awhile til i have free time to attempt the spray again
You can also CAREFULLY cut with a razor to outline the line you're trying to achieve too. Not too deep though, or you'll hit the real paint of the lip lol..
GL! I plastidipped the two outer rims of my tank because I was too lazy and that's what I did lol
lol nah yet. i got projects and finals for school. its just been sitting with half the plastidip still on haha

i did that for a section, but it left an indentation on the silver part that bugged me alot for some reason. so i said eff this and decided to respray lol.
what does that even mean? LOL my newb side tends to come out on some GS stuff.
hopefully its nothing to expensive.
since my GS is a hybrid, it has a battery pack like the prius. one of the cells in that pack died causing the message. dealer says to replace the whole pack. ~6k including parts and labor.
man dude that sucks! any warranties on it to save you from the expense?
