215 and 225 tires would have worked out better for those size wheels......

 

TE's looks pretty good on your car besides the rear not tucking aireout. I agree with you about the rear arch design! are your fenders rolled?

great build thread. glad to see more people use nutserts instead of self-tappings! nutserts have been around for awhile too!

did the wing require holes to be drilled in place?

 

the wing had studs but i popped them off and only used the double side tape to hold it into place. its a pretty light wing.

you could probably get away with slightly more aggressive offsets if you went with aftermarket 18"s with stretched tires. Just a thought?

slightly more aggressive compared to stock wheels? do you have a car on air? I will be selling the Volks and doing different set of 19" with same tires but different offset and widths.

how did you mount the rear sensors? looks like a bracket you made? and for the front did you use nuserts to mount the sensor itself on the car as well?

 

Yes rear brackets I bought from swtjlsy on CL and bent it on table vise to angle i needed and bolted right next to another factory height sensor. who know what its for, headlights? but perfect spot on arm to mount the level i saw it so i went with it. Relocated the factory arm by making a bracket to the side of it to hold it in place so that the elevel sensor on both sides will be mirror image.

front, i did nutsert into the car as well for only one of the mounting holes. the other hole towards the bottom for the sensor went right through so i just bolt and teflon nut it into place. Easy to take out and easy to put back in without causing holes to strip out from on and off. the wire holders i did just shot regular screws for those.
