1995 SC300 - "Elsa"

Haha, yes. Just replacing all sensors, gaskets (not head gasket though), accessories (water pump, etc), pulleys, rubber lines, and giving it a good clean, and a bit of purple paint on certain areas. Then it goes to a friend's shop for insertion.

Removed the crash support rebar, drilled and threaded for a M8x1.25
Installed 90-degree brackets for the intercooler, bolted them on very tightly.
Test fitted, had to move it back to clear the bumper
Installed. Waiting for my OEM 98 bumper to be installed.
...and I realize it's off-center.

nice build thread. are you going to keep the stock twins or go single? im still debating if i want to go 1j or 2j swap next month lol. Whatever i do im going single while the motor is out of the car. Heard its a pain in the *** to swap the twins out while in the car.

I'm gonna send the twins in to get rebuilt at DriftMotion or some place in the next few months.
Yesterday I finally got around to installing the LS400 calipers.
Decals are courtesy of Tabaka.

Eventually. I'll need to get a Suprastick TECU or something since I'm auto atm and pretty much no good aftermarket ECUs can control the A340E.

Finally got my Tomei T-Trax TB20 2-Way LSD installed.
Took an entire year, due to the first shop having gone out of business, and other life priorities.
I don't plan on testing its slide capabilities in my Blizzaks, but rest assured I won't be having any more stuck-in-ice-due-to-one-wheel situations for the remainder of this winter!

Well guys, it's been a while without an update. In late January some life events occurred and the SC300's transmission blew. Citing financial concerns and my 57-mi daily commute, I figured it was time to stick with a reliable daily and pursue my sportscar fantasies a little later on.
I sold Elsa to a friend of a friend, Rcreegan. He bought the whole kit from me, including the non-VVTi 1JZ and the Tomei 2-way LSD I was fitting a week prior to the transmission failure.
You can follow this thread here.
My new daily is a whole lot more boring, but a whole lot more powerful. I miss the SC a ton and I will miss this community.

^that's bad news. Although, glad your SC went to someone who will be able to take care of it.
Enjoy your new daily and good luck with everything. Am sure you'll be back in an SC one day.
