Default Is 350 F sport rim repair

I recently purchased a 2014 is350 f sport with ultra white paint and of course the F sport 18 inch rims. I also bought the $850 rim protection package, with my luck two weeks later I hit a curb and had my local Lexus dealer repair the rim. This was a huge mistake. They repainted it a color they said matched. It looked nothing like the factory finish and was dull. I had they repainted it and still it was way off color. I am now in the process of tracking down the original manufacturer of the company that supplies Lexus with their wheels or at the very least finding out where to get the correct color and finish for the rims. The front rim was repainted if the pictures are posted correctly. If anyone has any ideas who this company is or the correct color and finish I would greatly appreciate it. This is essential as a new rim is $650.

That's definitely noticeably different, wouldn't ride with that.
The stock rims had clear coat finish to it.
Phantom Grey was the touch up color they probably didn't use, you can purchase it on Amazon or ebay.

Try this guy, my coworker got curb rash on her rims too.
He fixed it to brand new, can hardly notice it. $100-150.

My advice to you is have him redo that front rim, bite the loss from Lexus unless you're ok with the way it looks.
Or if he can improve the look of it.

Goodluck

you can NEVER color match factory wheels. I would take it back tell them to paint all 4 wheels.
I had the same problem on my 05 sti gold wheels and the bodyshop had to paint all 4 wheels instead...at their cost.
Or your other best bet is to just buy a used f-sport wheels from classified section for pretty cheap.

Correct, it's near impossible to color match just 1 wheel. You have to have them probably do all 4 or just buy one off the classifieds. Instead of buying that rim protection, I would have just powdercoated all 4. Probably would have been cheaper and it would look just as nice... Plus you could have totally customized it. That's all in the would of should of could of's though... Good luck with working it out with them.

Same thing happened to me my wife took a curb and I almost cried when I saw it, but I got ahold of alloy wheel repair services. This company is nation wide and they did an amazing job you can't even tell.
