No I don't think XM has them posted for sale yet.
So I started to tear down things to do the manual conversion and I noticed a terrible oil leak.
Oil was splattered inside the engine covers and on the timing belt and was dripping all over the oil pan.
After spending a couple days just trying to source the leak I found it. The vvti cam was leaking pretty bad.
Soory I'm not good at taking pictures while i'm working. =P
Here was the culprit.
I bought the driftmotion rebuild kit and rebuilt it and did cam seals, front crank seal, timing belt, and valve cover seals. http://www.driftmotion.com/product-p/dm3057.htm
You can see here how bad the oil leak was.
All cleaned up and put back together, i've been driving it since wednesday and it hasn't leaked any oil. Woo hoo!
In the process of fixing the oil leak I got antsy and order daizen sway bar bushings.
I'm not sure if it's the fact that i was a driving a 4runner around while I had engine torn down or the diazen bushings but the car feels completely different. It drives like it's glued to the road.
I cannot wait for it to be manual.

Back from the dead haha
Clean Car (pre-spacers)
Added spacers all the way around (38mm in rear 25mm in front)
Bought some used sideskirts (not sure on brand)
Repainted them
waiting to install them and the rest of the areo till after r154 swap is done.
Earliest this month It snowed here in the pac-nw.
and of course the last week before I tore down the car to do the swap this happens.
Pics of the swap soon to come.

Thanks!
Here is my swap related progress so far.
XM extended the r154 shifter for me
and cast me a new housing. it is only 1.5" but i think it should be enough to land the shifter where I need it to be.
Toyota Electronic Speed Sensor
Center console removed. It was filthy down here.
All Gone.
Got the driveshaft out and compared it to the r154 driveshaft I have.
As she sits right now.
i've almost dropped the auto trans on sunday but I got stuck on the last 4 bolts that are in between the firewall and the block. They are a pain in the ***! Will update and I progress more.

Yes every build I have seen they extend the shifter housing further but, I have a shifter that has a bend in it that moves it back another inch or so. (i'll see if I can grab pictures of it soon)
More progress:
Marlin Crawler Bushings installed
Started modifying up the center console for 5 spd
Ordered new door lock actuators still need to install them.
Took the roof wing off and start sanding it down for paint.
And last but not least started modifying my mishimoto rad to fit OEM fans.

Made some more progress last night.
Pulled the torque converter and flex plate off last night. found what appears to be an oil leak from the rear main seal housing.
Also I did some measuring so everyone can see!
Center of shifter housing is 28.5"
31" with my shifter (shifter is not custom it came out of some other toyota)
Here is where 28.5" lands in the trans tunnel.
31". I believe this is going to land in the perfect spot.
Also I guess I was wrong it's 2.5" longer than stock.

Going to exit the AT hole? Mine wasn't nearly as far (looks to be around 28.5" in your picture), but with the stock shifter bends, it made it uncomfortable to shift. Then again, I do like to sit a bit close to the wheel.
Can't wait to see more updates.

yea my pictures suck but the shifter housing will exit at the 28.5 mark. if that shifter I have pushes it too far back i'll just grab another one without a bend. I have options at my disposal haha.
I didnt touch anything on the car but I did pick up a new real main from toyota.
painted my roof wing.
then I made a plate for my clutch master cuz the original holes I drilled in the firewall look like crap.
I still need to trim it down just a bit to clear the harness but i'm hoping to start reassembling everything this weekend.
