You should be fine, Outside of the noise the added performance is definitely there, IMO Stay away from OEM pads , They are two squealy and too dusty. Go with centric posi quiet. No dust no squeals. Brakes great
i had a complete front/rear Baer Brake kit, cross drilled and slotted on my 91 Mustang 10 years ago and the noise i'm hearing is probably the same meaning it's normal. i had another noise but it seemed to go way after i had to apply my brakes suddenly on the freeway to avoid a 18 wheeler going into my lane. i got my rotors from a local shop, the owner used to work at Lexus and is into high performance. the hats are anodized black, vented etc, but didn't know about NRT; i'll ask him when i have him make me the rear rotors. i had Okebono pads installed up front and so far no squealing or dust.

which brand of pads should i use on the rears?
We stick with centric posiquiet's, unless tons of assHauling is being done, many race pads/parts are overkill.
