Cannot wait to see that Supra out in its nature habitat on the track/auto-x course!

Default Upstream o2 sensors with catless headers

A second gen MR2 with a 2GR-FE swap would make for a fantastic project car. Plenty of owners have done this swap with great results.

Regarding the Evora, that was my top choice prior to the MKV Supra being released. I've mentioned both the Evora S and 400 as my go to purchase should the performance capabilities of the new Supra not meet my expectations. Several years back, I was on my way to a dealership 3 hours away in South Florida to purchase a lightly used Evora S but as I was about 30 minutes away, someone from out of state purchased it. I learned that putting a deposit on a potential purchase is important. Lol.

That lesson came in handy as the IS350C I purchased last year was freshly loaded at a Jeep dealership lot and as soon as it was listed online, I happened to have seen the ad that same day and had put my deposit down. Soon after, callers from other states were wanting to do the same. The sales people were definitely not expecting a high demand on an unassuming hardtop Lexus convertible.

Speaking of that IS350C, here are a few new pics of it with the other cars.

Hey man, awesome build! I love it. Totally off topic but maybe you can help. I have a 2006 is350 with intake, ppe headers, tune and midpipe. My car has been burning thru o2 sensors. Like one every month. Did you experience that with your car also? I never even track my car. Just lots of highway kms. Thanks 👍

Tune and axleback. Tune is a year deep of DD and no issues.
What was the 1st brand for replacement? If not OEM Denso, that could be part of it.

Any fuel additives in use here?

Is it your secondary O2 sensors that are failing? Any codes that you can share with the group? I haven't had any O2 sensors fail since getting the tune along with headers and midpipes. I did get a pesky P0157 code after getting the midpipes installed but no exhaust leaks were found so I had RR Racing delete that code.

No fuel additives, costco premium gas. Rr racing tune, f sport intake, ppe headers. Replacement sensors were all oem denso. Tunes been on the car for 6 months roughly. Went thru 5 upstream sensors.

I had the same codes after midpipes and headers, but rr racing tune took care of that. These codes are for bank 1 and 2 upstream sensors. Ho2s heater circuit voltage low code. I was thinking about trying out bosch sensors rather than oem denso this time.

I wish I had an answer to resolve your issue. You can try sending an email to Rafi or Simon at RR-Racing to see if they can provide a suggestion in case it is tune related. Good luck!

Default New Instagram Account @redspencer_trd

Happy new year! It's been a while since I posted an update so I'll add a few items here:

1) Instagram: People have been asking me if I have an IG account so what better way to start the new year than by creating one for the Redspencer cars! I just created the account today and I plan on uploading lots of pics and videos of the Redspencer IS350, GR Supra, and IS350C over the weekend so feel free to add me to your Instagram @ "redspencer_trd". This will be a good way for lots of non-CL members to reach out to me if they have any questions about their Lexus IS builds.

This will be my cover pic for the account:

2) IS350: Since the car is 14 years old and over 100k miles, I decided to buy a new PCV valve as a preventative maintenance measure. From what I read on the forums, these parts rarely fail but it should be an easy swap to replace and I'll do so over the weekend.

3) GR Supra: It took nearly four months of waiting but the OEM rear spoiler that was supposed to be part of the A91 Special Edition GR Supra had finally arrived. I had it installed at my local Toyota dealership and now the A91 Supra looks complete. The Supra will finally be getting its downpipe and tune upgrade later this month so I'll keep everyone posted on my impressions with the upcoming mod!

I bet that PCV will still rattle when removed!

That additional "lip/duckbill spoiler" is just the cherry on the sundae! Looks perfect now!

It's been quite a while since I posted a new video on my Redspencer IS350 YouTube channel so I decided to have some fun this morning doing several WOT pulls from an underpass.

I still haven't gotten tired of the exhaust note from my setup.

Might someone have the following installed;
Ultra Racing SUBFRAME TIE: UR-LA2-171 - LEXUS IS 250/350/ISF (XE20/USE) 2006-2014

I would imagine those braces would make the chassis way too stiff. As long as one is fine with that...

Thanks AMIRZA786. Was interested if Ultra Racing manufactured a middle lower brace (braces the driveshaft tunnel), but unfortunately, they do not. Only parts UR-LA-170 Front steering rack brace & UR-LA-171 Front subframe tie.

I do have a four point front lower chassis brace similar to that Ultra Racing UR-LA-171. It's made by GT Spec and is the brace that I've been highly recommending to supplement the F-Sport rear under chassis brace. Both of these braces have a noticeable improvement with chassis responsiveness from initial steering inputs.

Since we're on the subject of braces, I dug through some of my IS350 photos to find pics of the braces installed on my car:

1) GT Spec four point front under brace and Megan front two point brace:

2) Center tunnel brace (custom made by MikeFig82) and F-Sport rear under chassis brace:

3) Another set of billet aluminum rear braces (I forget the name of them). They are said to help with minimizing chassis flex when going up steep driveways:

4) Ultra Racing Front Shock Tower Brace:
