I picked up a pair of curtains from a local CL member yesterday. I wasn't really planning on running curtains, but the deal was too good to pass up! I'm 6'6" with really long legs, meaning my head sits about where the B-pillar does, so front curtains would create a major blind spot for me. Since this thing is my daily, I'll probably just to stick to the rear curtains (keyword: probably).

Also stuck a bottle in the bottle cabinet for added effect.

If you could get the perfect offset for the current rims so you have flush fitment without rubbing, what would it be? I know you mentioned spacers so I was curious as to how far off it was. Thanks. Diggin the build.

Default Exhaust!

Hey do you mind giving us a sound clip of your exhaust? Would love to hear how it sounds and get some ideas, Thanks!

Thanks man!

If I remember correctly, the wheels are +38 in the rear and I have what appears to be a 10 mm spacer. If you're talking flush fitment with shaved fenders, I think probably around +15-20. Flush with rolled fenders is probably +25-ish. If you don't want to modify fenders at all, then +30 is probably pushing it.

I'll try to get a sound clip at some point.

The big 4x18" Magnaflow tips from the first or second page of this thread made it sound really 4.6L Mustang-ish and it was loud at all RPMs, even idle. The 2-1/4" pipes with AP2 tips that are on it now are quieter and less throaty, giving it more of a European performance car sound. It really screams when you put the pedal down, but is more mellow during casual driving.

OK thanks! My GS has all the resonators deleted so I wasn't sure what to do with my muffler setup. Definitely don't want it to be extremely loud but I would like a nice growl.

Thanks. Man it's gonna be close. I'm getting a knock off of yours, the STR 607s 19x8.5 +30 (other option is even lower offset) and 19x10 +35. Thanks for the info. Might end up rolling the front. So did you say that in the back I can run +25(because that spacer reduces by ten, right)?

Mine still has the two resonators after the y-pipe and before the mufflers. I have considered removing them as well because I'd like my car to be a little louder.

If you go for the muffler delete and are running straight pipes, let me know how you like it!

You can probably run +25 in the back with rolled fenders, yes. The spacer reduces the offset by 10 which pushes the wheel out further (the lower the offset, the more the wheel sticks out).

Also, what are you going to end up paying for STRs? You should be able to find a used set of real wheels for about the same price as new replicas. I bought my Vossens used for $900.

I just saw them on Ebay for 750 shipped but I might be able to low ball them to 700 bc it's obo. I need to research my Vossens now. My issue is that the STRs are about 28lb... if Vossen are closer or better than stock, then I'll do that. Thanks for all the info.
