Thanks Tony. I love cruise control, couldn't be without it!
Other issue is still to be resolved. After getting the car tested it came back with no faults. Next plan is to find all the locations for traction control sensors and check them one by one.

Time for another update, but one that will take a week or so to complete, possibly longer depending on availability of materials.
I decided I wanted a Kazz Sports grille, only issue, I'm not shelling out over £400 for one! So I decided that with a spare 98-00 grille kicking around, it was time to modify it and see what I could do to it. My opinion was that if it didn't work out how I wanted it to, I could at least throw it away.
How it started....
After taking out all of the little horizontal ribs, it was time to start taking the vertical ribs out. The best place is to start in the middle and work your way out....
All of the ribs removed, time to sand down what was left....
Here's out it currently stands. The tape is on there to stop a small crack getting larger, as I have taken out the supporting ribs it feels flimsy. I still need to shave down some of the left over ridges, but it's nearly smooth enough to filler and sand down....
I have ordered some strips of ABS plastic. I plan to use cardboard to get the shape I need for the new ribs, as it's easier to cut around and shape. The plan is to have one central, vertical rib, with either two or three horizontal ribs running across the middle. The only thing I am not sure on will be the colour, but as I have the option to paint the grille chrome, I'll decide once I've fab'd it all up.
Thanks for looking.

As I am still working on the grill, but currently waiting for the donor grill from an E Class, I thought I'd start my tail light modification.
Since I did not sell my 01+ tail lights I decided to go down the route of modifying them. This is a riskier job than the fronts as they are plastic welded together, so it's a case of chopping them open.
Tail lights ready to be worked on....
Tail lights separated....
The plan is to go with a more modern look. Ideally LED lights for brake, indicator and reversing, but acrylic style lighting for the running lights. My main goal is to make them look stock but to give me the chance to remove the LED's if any die. This is something I have had a problem with in regards to LED tails before. One LED dies than the whole unit needs replacing!
As for the grill, I have an E Class grill on it's way which will be used to fit inside the current GS grill I have. Pictures of the grill to come.

Good God I love the two tone! I've been tossing up either switching out my tan interior to all black or go two tone black/tan and now I'm convinced.
And I think the height it's sitting at in the pics with the Fiesta looks great, I'd leave it like that if it was mine.
Nice job mate, keep it up.
