Default My 1jz 93 sc300 - back in the game.

Hey guys, So, i been out of the game for quite awhile. I took a break to build VIP cars and do something different. 2 years ago I bought this SC for my fiance. She needed a car and wanted an sc300 after seeing my old one before i sold it.

I have since got really bored with my ls400. And wanted to really get back into the performance scene. So i decided to start building the sc300.

When we first got it, it was completely stock, original dwp paint with 148k mi. Interior was clean besides a little wear on the seats.

I bought some xxr wheels and megan coilovers and it sat like that for awhile.

I just recently bought the 1jz and an intercooler which I am going to be installing this weekend.

The intercooler is just a cheap ebay one so i can get the motor installed since i dont have any of the original intake piping.

I also bought a bov that will be here tomorrow, and a full body kit which may be here in a couple weeks. Will post more pics of interior (which i am currently dying from tan to black) and swap step pics once we get started!

Welcome back, I'd recommend replacing all those "seals" and other components while that motor is still out. This will save you time in the long run. Which transmission are you going to run auto or manual?

Its an ED spoiler. Its a bit bigger than I'd hoped. But I like it. It looks funky from that angle though.

Nice, car looks great. What are the specs on the wheels? Good luck with the swap, I'm in the middle of mine now too!
