Default My Build : 99 GS300 2jzgte, 5spd, Airride, 500whp+..(pic intensive 70+)

**********Update on page 2, finished on airride*********

Whats up everyone, been a while since I posted to Club Lexus, thought it was time I shared all the progress over the last 2yrs...The car has had alot of changes, bought it with a NA-t then went GTE with a built auto setup, then I melted a piston in Oct 2013. Ended up putting another complete GTE motor in and sold the built auto and went with a built R154, this was all between Oct 2013 and March 2014. Now to this winter, started March 2015 to current, I'm installing Accuair on the car. Should be fun, hoping that after it done, I can turn up the boost and be the first GS on airride that I know of to go 10.90's or so... Here are some pics, enjoy!!

Feel free to follow me on instagram, always posting pics.. @twoloose

So here is when is was GTE with built auto, was waiting on new wheels..

All mounted up and fitting nice

Then I went to the drag strip for the first time with it, on the 3rd pass it melted 2 pistons due to bad injectors which were brand new FIC 1100's.. With no launch and just driving it out, it went 12.8@118mph.. So it certainly had a better time in with a launch

So then it was time to rip it apart again. Me and a couple friends started renting a space to work on our cars...

Out came the motor

Motor looked really clean and was hoping maybe it was just a head gasket until we saw the melted pistons...

So decided to part the old motor and sell the built auto and install a manual swap with a built R154...

Then I took the car over to my friends at Freed Engineering to have them install the clutch pedal and master cylinder. I actually ended up using a Honda Civic Clutch pedal assembly and master cylinder instead of an IS or SC. Alot cheaper, looks good and works good!!

Picked up from Freed's with an extra pedal installed

Picked up my built R154 from Freed also

Now onto the current project, Ended up getting steal of a deal on a complete airride kit. Will be running UAS bags on BC adj shocks and using Accuair Elevel Management...Here are some progress pics

Stripped the tank and now it being painted to match the engine

Mocking up the setup

I wanted the Accuair manifold to appear that its floating, so I was working on that over the weekend...

So this is where it stands currently, hoping to be done with the Air in a couple weeks. Will post some more updates.. I've linked some vids below, last couple are how it is with the manual...

Thanks, yeah it works great and fits the look perfect, same curve as the stock brake pedal. Nice OEM look to it..
