97-SC300 Single Turbo Build Thread
#241
Installed the ETS 5" intercooler that we bought last year. 3" piping on the hot side, 4" piping on the cold side. Ended up re-using the same bracket that we made for my last intercooler setup since it was already fit perfectly and painted. Only had to drill 2 holes in a different spot this time and add spacers because this one will sit a bit higher than the last one. Spacers were cut out of a temporary aluminum piping just to get the dimensions right, will be replaced with thicker metal pieces this upcoming week, but came out very nice and solid.

Lead Lap
Amazing attention to detail, as always. The best SC/Soarer I have ever seen! Keep the awesome work going!
What did you use to paint the modified shifter surround?

UPDATE:
Car is pretty much all one. fluids filled, fuel system primed. I am having an issue with the PROEFI and connecting to my laptop with the CAM communication cable. have to go through some of the wiring to see why it is not communicating. Hope to figure it out soon to do a first start up.

Painted area where battery tray used to be and no more foglights, didn't clear the 4" pipe. Bumper had to be trimmed a small amount to clear pipe, buffed it afterwards so looks more presentable now!
Cell phone pics
I machine polished the upper 4" pipe (no pics of that yet) and have dropped it off with Tim to shoot it with clear powder coat. It shined up pretty damn well, very happy with it and it's not too blingy. Also will install a rubber weather strip around the hole we cut for the pipe this weekend.
