It's been a while... Last year I had a kid and I in preparation I had remove my entire audio system to make room for a specific stroller. I ended up getting rid of the entire audio set up and decided on something update and new. Entire build thread can be found on DIYMA. Special thanks Bing for the design of the build and Jess and Julia for all the work on the car.
Since I would need to be hands free; I changed out to a Bluetooth deck and ditched the DVD changer in the process. I can control a lot of the apps from my phone from the deck.
A DSP was also added for better overall sound, a huge improvement over the previous audio build.
AMP, air tank and compressor rack. Julia fabricated this all by hand.
I can unbolt the rack holding the amps to access the air equipment. I also have a hidden hose to the tank if I need to air up tires or use air tools while mobile.
A few weeks back TAMR_GUS98 installed my FIGS rear components and steering outer tire rods. I was tired of going through tires once a year with this being my daily driver. Better pics will come next week once I put the car back in the air.
Very little negative camber compared to before. Before I was maxed out on negative camber to get the tires perfect with the fender. Both the front and rear fenders were widened by an inch for the 9.5" and 10.5" rims to clear.
The only issue now is after the rear arms were installed I'm having an issue where my cups won't fully lower so I have to take them apart for inspection.
That's an absolutely BEAUTIFUL wiring job for the amps and DSP... don't think I've seen anything remotely close since coming to CL
Question: How large is the subwoofer in the trunk? I wanted to put a sub in that exact spot but was wondering how to get around the trunk hinge so thanks for the idea

Thanks. SIS does great work. The Sub is 12". illusion C12. The sub's magnet is on the front instead of the back allowing a more shallow mount.
Very NICE Install.... I Just wanted to know How the sub sounded firing from the side. Is the factory sub removed as well? I had been contemplating swapping the factory for something else. I haven't heard a definitive review of the sound after doing so. I may want to pick your brain a little, If you don't mind...
