So I decided to send back my AEMv2 and just ordered the correct transmission and driveline for the car. It should hopefully be here next week and be ready to install before the new year
just a quick update. I have everything with the swap pretty much completed just trying to figure out a cost effective way to hook up the driveline. other then that car starts and idles perfect. Once I can figure out an adapter I will have the tear down info for the single conversion and then off to the exhaust shop for the final touch.
Finally started working on the single conversion. Was able to rip off the twins over the weekend. For anybody doing this swap it is definitely worth doing the single conversion before installing the motor in the car. This would have probably been a 4 hour job if I did this before installing the motor. Instead it took about 10 hours spread over the weekend.
So the new turbo does not fit on the the exhaust manifold. The turbo is to big for this manifold so I ordered a smaller one so the project is on a stand still until the new turbo gets here.
the turbo isn't clocked in this picture but just to kind of give you guys an idea. I now have a turbo for sale lol so if anyone is in need of one pm me asking $250

So the turbo supplied in the kit doesn't fit the manifold also supplied in the kit???
Looks really good man. Any detailed pictures as to what you did to the fuel pump I assume you upgraded the factory one correct? Hopefully I to will be doing this swap soon with a r154 tranny.

I upgraded to the AEM fuel pump. It has seem to work perfect for the little bit I have let it run. This is the only Picture I have of the fuel pump out which is right before I installed it. Everything lined up perfectly and nothing complicated to install it.
finally worked all the kinks out with the turbo kit, I have the last silicone attachment on order to hook up my fmic and then off to the exhaust shop by the end of next week
Have a new update. Everything with the motor is running excellent. But I get a vibration in the car from 35mph to 40mph. each shop that has seen the car says it is the tires not being balanced correctly and I have had the tires rebalanced twice and the problem still exists. I am thinking it might be the driveline, since I used the original Lexus driveshaft. Does anybody have any input on this problem?

Spin the wheels on a lift and see if the driveshaft is wobbling. Also if the support bearing is to high or low it could vibrate.
Im curious to know are you having the problem of running out of fuel at 1/4 tank?
I will speak for me don't know if he's had a chance to run a full tank in his car yet. My tank is empty about midway between empty and 1/4. So i use my mile tracker and also just fill up right when i hit /4 tank.
